Beaucoup de nouveaux meubles, couettes et oreillers tous neufs pour 2019. Une maisonnette spacieuse et extrĂȘmement lumineuse de 2 chambres avec vue sur la mer et parking privĂ©. Grande terrasse ensoleillĂ©e abritĂ©e plein sud. Parking privĂ© pour un vĂ©hicule Ă  l'extĂ©rieur de la propriĂ©tĂ©. 5 couchages. Charmant et propre. Des appareils de qualitĂ© pour que vous puissiez manger et vous dĂ©tendre confortablement et avec style. Machine Tassimo, cafetiĂšre, mousseur Ă  lait, micro-ondes, four double. RĂ©frigĂ©rateur. Les chambres ont des matelas, des couettes et des oreillers de qualitĂ©. SituĂ© Ă  seulement 5 minutes Ă  pied du magnifique sable fin primĂ© et des eaux cristallines de la plage de Porthmeor (Blue Flag & Tidy Awards), du port, de la Tate Gallery et du centre-ville. Adjacent Ă  la propriĂ©tĂ© est la belle aire de jeux et terrain de jeu d'Ayr. Driftwood Porthmeor offre une vue sur la mer cĂŽtiĂšre de toutes les fenĂȘtres et offre la paix et la tranquillitĂ© aprĂšs l'agitation de la ville. Chiens calmes et bien Ă©levĂ©s bienvenus. Nice little flat wirh a parking place. Clean and tidy well equipped for us . Dog friendly near the park but alot of steps if you have an old dog 🐕. Couldnt get the Microwave to work ? Not sure why. Interesting shower with deep tub you have to climb into. Great view from balcony.

Unterkunft ist so lala

Wir haben diese Unterkunft fĂŒr Ende September gebucht: Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen; allerdings nicht sehr ideal fĂŒr Menschen mit Geh-EinschrĂ€nkungen, da man steil bergauf laufen muss. Man hat jedoch einen fantastischen Blick und ist in 7 Min in der FußgĂ€ngerzone. Um die Ecke ist ein schönes Kaffee und eine Art Kiosk. Was uns nicht gefallen hat ist; dass man fĂŒr die BettwĂ€sche und HandtĂŒcher extra zahlen musste- diese Regelung gilt jedoch nur ab Ende September. Dies ist nicht nachvollziehbar, denn September gilt im allgemeinen als Top Reise Saison. Zudem reist man als Tourist wohl kaum mit HandtĂŒchern und BettwĂ€sche im Flieger an. Ganz schlimm war die Dusche und deren Funktion. Die Regelung der Temperatur ist furchtbar. Entweder man verbrĂŒht sich oder duscht kalt. Der Wasserdruck ist so schwach,sodass man Shampoo aus langen Haaren nicht heraus gewaschen bekommt.

Very nice location and parking is easy to access. Be very specific on guest number and be sure to order towels and linens as they are not available unless arrangements made. Is on the second floor so expect some steps for luggage. Basic appliances and kitchen supplies. Rooms are small but adequate. Shower/ tub is on a raised platform. Bring basics like toilet tissue and dishwasher detergent. Beautiful views from bedroom.

Great location 5 minutes walk to Porthmeor Beach. Property maintained in immaculate order with everything we could wish for to ensure our stay was a true home from home experience. Justine was helpful from the moment of booking to help and answer any questions. We will definitely be using Driftwood again for our stays in St Ives.

St Ives Eagle’s Perch

A sweet and simple condo - basic comfy, nothing fancy. In a good location above the town center and with its own designated parking spot, but there are a LOT of steps to get to the unit and it’s on two floors. I would stay again, but it might not be the best choice for everyone.

Wonderful Christmas/New Year getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from Boxing Day until 2nd Jan. The maisonette is super clean and well equipped, the kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal including plenty of utensils, weighing scales and pans. The kids loved the added toys and games and if guests have younger children it’s lovely to see high chairs, a stair gate and plastic bowls and plates are all available. The maisonette is in an ideal location with the town and beaches within walking distance. Having a parking space that close to town is a big added bonus too. Justine is very proactive and helpful which is really appreciated. I would book this property with confidence again. Many thanks.

Amazing location, highly recommend

The property is within easy walking distance of beaches and the beautiful harbour, we have two kids under 5 and all our needs were catered for. Justine was a great host and answered and resolved any queries easily.

An ideal location for the beach

As a holiday let, it was ideally located to get to the beach, harbour and high street within walking distance. Plus it also had a parking space outside of the house which is a nightmare in st. Ives to get a parking spot.

Great House for Family

We stayed for five nights in July. Justine was great at communicating and gave us all the necessary information well before we set off. The house was minutes walk from the beach and in a perfect location for all of St Ives, it had all the amenities we needed and more. It was also great exercise walking up and down the hill from the house daily. The house was quiet at night for a good nights sleep too!

Lovely and convenient

I stayed here with my husband and 2 year old for four nights to explore St Ives and the surrounding area. The walks into town, Porthmeor Beach and the Tate were short and simple. Very clean and charming property. Great size for a family. Well stocked with kitchen utensils to cook meals. Added bonuses for us were having a nice wooden playground just outside, the sun terrace, and a parking spot. Host was easy to reach.

Great place to stay in St Ives !

This two story flat was charming and clean and comfortable. Short walk (9-10 min) to the center of town and beaches. Conveniently located with parking which is huge bonus in St Ives!

Brilliant break away at driftwood 25th June 2021

When we first arrived driftwood was just how we expected it to be , homely clean and comfy! Had everything you could possibly need. Having 2 young children’s 2 and 4 years old it was very well equipped for them. It was just like a home from home . Comfy beds , and a chilled living room area. St Ives is such a beautiful place the views from driftwood windows are amazing . And especially in the from bedroom, we opened the window and looked at the stars late at night. The beach is just stunning , and my children Absolutely loved it. Driftwood also has a little park at the side which Is a god send when you have kids! There is a few steps at driftwood as it is on the top floor so be prepared. However you wouldn’t get your views if you was on the ground floor. The hills 
 welllll if you was a fit Olympian then I’m sure you wouldn’t have a issue!! However me on the other hand .. well found it a challenge ( ha ha ) but I guess it’s good for the calorie burning! This apartment is the perfect location , right next to the beach in walking distance. Locals shops etc . The apartments it’s self was like it was meant for us, children’s games , little bits and bobs to play with high chairs etc , and kids little plastic plates knifes and folks. There is also everything you need to keep it tidy! Which is in a Little cupboard under the stairs also provided hair dryer and iron and ironing boards . Lovely seating area outside which is where my husband and I , sat at night when the little ones was in bed, and played cards. Little town .. At times I did feel like the town was Absolutely hammered And this wasn’t in term time , so it wasn’t school holidays so am not sure . But it was hard to get into anywhere for a meal . We did try and book before hand however they said no need to book its first come first serve .. but then when you get there it’s bookings only . So that kind of was the only downfall visiting st Ives. So we ended up just cooking majority of the time with having young children . The host was amazing! And any questions I had to answered promptly, which was quite a few before I even arrived! Thanks again Justine to a wonderful holiday. And your apartment is all what anyone can ask for :) thanks for letting us stay The McDonalds

Overall the property is clean and well maintained internally. However, the outside space needs some attention as not very enticing, needs a weed, paint and the BBQ replacing (currently BBQ is unusable). WiFi did not work during the stay, seem to be issues with the router. The shower is temperamental, with the water changing during a shower from piping hot to cold constantly. Worth noting the deposit is returned three weeks after you leave the property, regardless of the condition the property is left in.

Accommodation has everything you want for your holiday 15 minutes walk to beach or town and if you don't want to walk back up the hill a taxi will cost ÂŁ3.50 enjoyed our week apart from the weather but hey you can't garantee that in the U.K. ☔

Calm, clean, spacious, light apartment near to but well away from the hustle and bustle

This was our third stay at Driftwood and I don't think there's anywhere else in St. Ives we would stay in now. We love how spacious yet homely the apartment is (quote from our 9-year-old son, who particularly loves his own home: 'I always feel really at home here and don't want to stay anywhere else'!). We also love how close the apartment is to Porthmeor Beach with its wonderful beach cafe, the Tate, the Island, etc. (It takes about 6 minutes to walk down and 9 back up - even carrying stuff.) It's also a very quick easy walk into any other part of St. Ives. And yet the apartment is out of the cramped and crowded streets, with lovely views of its own across to Godrevy. The apartment is equipped with everything anyone could need. The beds are extremely comfortable. It really has become a home from home for us. This year, we hired a chalet (beach hut) at West Beach, which we'd not been to before. It's all part of Porthmeor but definitely more secluded (and out of the usual south-westerly wind), slightly more chilled and has a great vibe in the evenings. The pizzas there are wonderful. It's also better for smaller children/younger families, as the sea isn't quite so vigorous and at low tide, there's tonnes to explore among the rocks and sand. We were slightly needy about keys this time but the owner and house-keeper both could not have been more helpful and patient. Thank you Justine and Diane once again. We will be back!
