'This house is located perfectly in Carcassonne in the city center and close to the fortress. The accomodation is spread over a couple of floors and was relatively cool despite the heat wave (over 40 degrees) in the city, also thanks to the fans provided.Minor drawback: Arriving 15 min after check-in time, the cleaning staff still needed 15 min. 'Perfectly positioned,lovely property, easy walking to both the old city and the modern one. Access to supermarkets(by car) and small shops by foot. Martine obviously lives her home, as a host she was perfect, available if needed but not intrusive. The pool is a big plus if you have teenagers. '

'Ruime propere kamers. Meer dan genoeg potten, pannen, borden, bestek in de ruime keuken. Heel goed ontvangst. Bijna alles was dus excellent. Minieme minpuntjes: Er waren wel parasols aan het zwembad maar die konden we niet openen omwille van de wind. En je hoort wel de autostrade dichtbij maar is niet echt hinderlijk. Wij gaan zeker terug :)'

'Lovely little bungalow, tastefully decorated, in a quiet residential area. Very well equipped. A car is a must though. Ten minutes from the airport. Five minutes to a big supermarket and shops. Easy drive to Le Cité and downtown Carcassonne. Easy access to motorways too. '

'We had a fantastic stay and many of the party enjoyed the air conditioned bedrooms!! Very well equipped kitchen - with everything we needed to cook at home and a great recommendation for a local restaurant (chez Fernandez)we we certainly didn’t go hungry . Severine and Yannis were amazing hosts ( especially when one of our party needed a doctor ) helpful and friendly. Pool was great although not easy to get out of for those with limited mobility. Jacuzzi and Hamam were well used too. Easy to get...
