Arrived at 3:30 PM and was not allowed to enter property until 4pmNothing in the listing advised the unit was on a 2nd floor. We are both in our 60’s and have bad knees. Wonderful Stay

Loved this cozy little space. Perfect for a couple!! All the space we needed for a few days away!! Everything was clean and comfy and working. Very happy and would stay here again!!

Disappointing

I would not recommend this property due to the poor response from the property manager. We got in on a Saturday and reported WiFi and TV access issues. One of the other four units in our building had the same problem. The property manager did not make contact until Monday. She claimed our problem was due to a storm, but we had the issue Before the storm. She did not send anyone to fix our issue until Tuesday evening. We left on Wednesday. The smoke detectors were also taken down when we arrived, so that was concerning. This was reported early in our stay but again no one sent until the night before we left. This was definitely a safety concern. All that said, the man they did finally send to fix things was super nice and efficient. Unfortunately, he was not sent earlier.

Amazing Location—But…

This property had perfect location—proximity to beach and village. It is very small, most appropriate for a couple. There were three of us, and not really enough space and pull out couch was so uncomfortable. Had a bug issue and difficult to communicate with the on site personnel.

Cute place so close to everything!

My favorite beach is Siesta Key. I decided to spend my birthday weekend there with my husband but wanted to be walking distance to the beach. This place was not only that, but so cute inside. It is also walking distance to the restaurants and shops too.

CUTE

Small apartment in a 4 apartment house just steps to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the action of the village and market! There was a salt water plunge pool with some lounge chairs and tables. Also there was a bin that had a few beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys. Quiet area just minutes to the action! I would definitely stay again!

Started off good ended horrible

Our stay started off great. Amazing location just feet away from the beach and a short walk to the village we could not have asked for a better location. Then on the 4th night of our stay we got in late and encountered cockroach in the toilet. When we looked around the bathroom we saw several more. They were small but there we several visible. We didn’t sleep well at all but had to stay in the room. When we got u a couple hours later we saw a large cockroach just above the toilet paper holder on the side of the sink vanity. We called Vacasa right then and explained the situation and sent the representative pictures to substantiate our issues. He was helpful and told us the local property manager would be contacting us. We packed our belongings as quickly as possible and reserved a hotel room in Sarasota. Our last full day of vacation was a bust. The local agent could not be reached for several hours. When she did call around 11:30 am she told us she saw no evidence of cockroaches she told us that the picture of the large cockroach in the bathroom didn’t look like anywhere in the unit. We told her the location of the other cockroaches and she continued to tell us she could find none at all. She told us the room is rented continuously and they never experienced cockroaches prior to this. She continued to state that she could find none. We felt as if she implied we were lying. She didn’t use the word lie or liar but it felt implied. We felt very insulted.

Weekend getaway

Great location, perfect setup for two people, logistics of registration and check-in went well, construction next door and the crew starts early (7 am) even on Saturday so you will want to check on the progress / completion.

Great Location

Checkin was very easy. Space was a little smaller than we expected but the location is perfect. You can walk to most places and you can see the beach from the front of the unit.

Okay stay

Perfect location

The best location we could ask for. Steps from the beach. Short walk to the Village shops and restaurants. This building has four rentals, a small pool, chairs and umbrellas for the beach ( very appreciated) , a cute outside shower to wash the sand off, a parking spot, trash pick up, air conditioning, comfortable bed, cable tv, free WiFi, etc. Absolutely everything you need. It was very clean when we arrived, and smelled nice. ( That’s a big deal to me) The space is small, but we didn’t mind that for our small group. One thing to know, rental 3 & 4 that can sleep four ( with a bedroom plus a pull-out couch in the living room), but you need to be ok with several stairs to get up there. Rental 1 & 2 are ground level. The most annoying issue I had was communicating with the owner. Which I’m not sure that’s even possible, because it’s managed by Vacasa. So that’s what I used. I called several days before our stay. We wanted to know if a air mattress could be dropped off for one of our kids so the two didn’t sleep together on a fold out couch. I was told by a very honest gentleman with a strong accent, they probably won’t do that, but he’d ask. I asked for at least blankets and pillows for both kids if they did have to share the couch. I got a confusing return text the next day, saying “ hope you’re enjoying your stay, an air mattress will be dropped off later”. I replied to remind them we were not going to be there for another 8 days. Long story… We never got an air mattress, never got pillows for the two kids (guest) that were sharing the pull-out couch, only had a fitted sheet and a flat sheet for the pull- out couch. I called and texted the Vacasa management, but nothing arrive our first or second day. Finally for our last two nights, someone dropped off one very thin throw blanket and two pillow cases, but no pillows. I think if I had been able to text or call one person directly, the communication would have been so much clearer and easier. Overall, great stay, we would come back. Thank you.

Cozy Property

We enjoyed our 4-Night stay at this lovely property. The proximity to the Beach is perfect. The accommodations were very nice for a 3-person family. More than 3 guests would be a little tight, but it was perfect for me and my husband and 12-year old son. An easy walk to the restaurants and shops made it comfortable to accomplish everything we wanted: from the go-kart rides to purchasing our beach apparel to getting a delicious meal every evening.

Close to beach and village

This is a great affordable place for a couple or small family to stay close to the village and the beach. There was a problem at the beach with the owners (sunset point pier). He demanded that everyone get off the beach property and called the police 2 days in a row. While the beach is clearly marked public access beach 2, the police made everyone move. It was very inconvenient and everyone was crowded on one section of the beach.

Awesome location

Loved our 2 week stay! Location to the beach and town was perfect walking distance! Place was cozy and comfortable. Booking for next year witch will be our third 3rd time going. Family members also booked for next year!! Can't wait!!
