Four stars because the room was clean, however, the staff member who checked me into the hotel and covered the desk at nights was completely unhelpful and uncourteous. He made it seem like an imposition to have to speak with me and was rude when I asked to wait in the lobby as I took an Uber and did not have a car to drive anywhere—I arrived 20 minutes before check in so my room was not ready according to him—he replied that I could do whatever I want but the room wasn’t ready in a rude tone. When my room was ready—I had to check back in as he did not let me know— he merely gave me the key without saying anything. No usual explanation of where rooms or elevators were located nor did he mention any amenities or services. Later, I received multiple charges and discovered from a different and much more helpful staff member that I was charged for parking despite my explanation at check in that I had no car. This morning staff member was professional and helpful. He was able to remove the parking charges and explained there was complimentary coffee. I would rate less based on the first encounter, except that second staff member was great and his help was appreciated.
