'I was there with my wife and one of our daughters to attend a memorial for a deceased family member. My wife of 56 years has Alzheimer's so travel can be challenging, but our stay was very enjoyable even with the challenges. The property is excellent but I think it was the communication with our host that was the most exceptional. The worst part of the trip was leaving! Sitting around the campfire has always been a source of enjoyment and our time there was no exception. While we live 600 miles...

'This is a very nice property with no frills but everything you need for a short stay. The beds were nice and the kitchen has everything needed for your stay. Please note that they only provide a starter pack of toilet paper and paper towels which for us consisted of a quarter of a roll of one ply toilet paper and almost a half a roll of paper towels. There are bath towels but bring beach towels if you need them for the lake. The icing on the cake was the very nice golf course less than a mile up...
