Maison neuve et pittoresque dans un cadre privé de 103 acres avec toutes les commodités dont vous aurez besoin. Cuisine entièrement moderne, décor rustique, plan d'étage à aire ouverte avec foyer au gaz avec vue imprenable sur le lac de 7 acres et la faune abondante. Deux ponts privés avec un ayant une vue sur le lac et l'autre donnant sur la cour arrière. Grill et foyer extérieur pour rôtir ces guimauves sous les étoiles. Trois miles de sentiers pédestres pavés serpentent à travers la propriété. Près de Redbank Valley Rails to Trails et aussi du kayak sur le Redbank Creek. Que vous souhaitiez vous détendre et ne rien faire ou que vous recherchiez une aventure en plein air, cette propriété est faite pour vous.

We stopped to see the famous ceremonial pulpit of Punxsutawney Phil, the mythical groundhog in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. We have all seen Bill Murray in Groundhog Day but the ceremony of Phil's prognostication does not actually take place in town like the movie suggests but two miles east of town at the unusually named Gobblers Knob. The Movie was actually not even filmed in Punxsutawney but in Woodstock, Illinois. The Groundhog Day celebration has its in Celtic tradition. This place was perfect for my husband and I's one year anniversary. We absolutely loved this place and how cozy and relaxing the atmosphere was. This place is insanely clean, well-kept, and the owners are incredibly considerate with what they keep available at the cabin for you to use. The french toast muffins were amazing, the kitchen has everything you need to make a meal away from home, the bathroom was well stocked, the bedroom even had extra pillows and blankets (and a stand up fan!), and we loved the variety of movies, games, and books! There are many places to walk and explore, we loved the trail from the back of the cabin that leads up around to the top of the hill. The view up there is truly something else. The lake, the fall leaves, how quiet it is out there.. I could not speak highly enough of this little gem of a place out in the middle of nowhere. Thank you Timothy and Jennifer! We cannot wait to come back.

This was a 2nd time here and just as wonderful as the first. There is so much peace and serenity here! The cabin is SO clean and comfortable and the host is great! Lake View Cottage was pure magic!

A sky twinkling with fireflies, peaceful trails through nature’s best, and the serene lake made every moment unforgettable. Cozy quarters and kind Amish neighbors added warmth to our stay. The owner reapected our privacy and was there for us if needed anything. I would highly recommend!

Great Getaway!

My wife and I stayed here to get away for a little bit and celebrate her birthday. What a wonderful place to get away too! It's a little walk to the lake, but it's still a really nice view of the lake and wonderful property (with lots of windows). It was hot so we enjoyed the air conditioning. My wife read as many books as she could in the comfy furniture while enjoying the view and I enjoyed hiking the magical trails and kayaking with the Koi fish in the lake. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Thank you Timothy and Jennifer!

A piece of Paradise!!!

Wow, what an AMAZING and absolutely BEAUTIFUL place! I'd give it 10 stars! Immaculately clean, beyond beautiful, so comfortable, the perfect lake, husband loved the fishing, used the kayak and paddleboat, and did all the trails! We knew we want to come back the minute we walked in. There were homemade muffins too and we loved the homemade wine he makes there you can purchase! Such a gorgeous property. The pictures just cant give you the feel of its beauty. The fall leaves were awesome. There is a reason everyone gives it a 10! come back the minute we walked in

Just what the doctor ordered

If you’re looking for a place to stay where you feel so calm and relaxed, this is it! This was like mental health wellness retreat for me. I woke up every morning with a beautiful view of the sunrise, burning off the morning fog on the lake. Straight from a movie scene. My favorite part was the walking paths through the woods. It was so serene and at times magical. I was literally obsessed with a particular part that was covered with moss with the trees and the way the sun shone through. So good!! When you crest the top of the mountain, you came upon scenery you only EVER see on a postcard. I took so many photos and videos. Everyday nature brought something new. I never wanted to forget those views. I strolled around the lake every evening and I noticed something different every night. I sat in the adorable gazebo, just a short walk down the pier. It lit up at night and you can see it from the cottages living room window. Like…how romantic!?!? The sky was so dark there, you could see millions of stars so clearly. The cottage was the cutest thing!! Nestled away from the neighbors, yet as a solo traveler, I felt a sense of safety. It was very clean, very modern, and the decor was gorgeous!! It’s really the perfect size for one. I personally loved the deer head on the wall. I named him Jimmy! Besties!! I spoke to Tim a few times and he was very kind and helpful with questions I had. Thanks Tim for being a great host! I definitely will be booking again in the near future.

Awesome stay

Amazing trails, awesome wildlife viewing on trails in comparison to public trails. Super well maintained and pedicured property without taking away from the fields and wooded areas. The cabin is a short walk to the lake, and watching the fireflies in the evenings was amazing. Was looking forward to star gazing but it was pretty cloudy, I assume it would be phenomenal!

Secluded Retreat

This was a beautiful property! Living area was immaculately clean, high quality appliances, countertops, woodwork, and flooring. Beautiful setting. We enjoyed the pond and paddle boat (catch and release fishing). Took walks along the paved hiking paths. We also traveled the countryside and found fresh strawberries, jams, sauces, breads, and Amish baked goods. Host was very attentive when needed, but did not bother us during our stay. Wines available for purchase on site. Note to guests: this is in a rural community and we recommend planning on preparing your own meals on site as we did. However, there is a great small pizza shop nearby, Mama Rita's (about a 15-20 min drive). The kitchen supplies (utensils, pots, pans, etc.) were well stocked and nice quality. We had everything we needed for cooking. Also enjoyed the outdoor grill. The living quarter is above a garage, so there are 16 steps to get up to the room. I would not recommend this location for anyone that has difficulty with walking/steps. But if you are able, we highly recommend talking the hike around in the woods and up the hillside to see the view of the property. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely look to stay here again.

Relaxing getaway. Unplugged edition.

Great getaway for the extended weekend to relax and recharge. Beautiful property. Loved the trails and the views. Went out nearby to scripture rocks and beat town rocks. Nice little hikes. Highly recommend this place for those who want to getaway.

The retreat oasis’s

This a perfect spot to connect with nature and bask in beautiful views! I needed a place for solitude and reflection and this property hit the mark. It was clean, well cared for, and the owners have such a gift of hospitality! Every detail was just so thoughtfully planned out by them. The private hiking trails were such a bonus!
