This rental was a very average stay. Yes, it has a few cute decor pieces as pictured, but overall, it felt like I was staying at a friend's house without professional cleaning, rather than a pricey VRBO. Cons: The bed is extremely uncomfortable/very stiff. I found the black comforter, black pillowcases, & black bathroom rug to be surprising decor choices for a short-term rental, as they showed every single hair/piece of lint before I used them. The bedroom is dusty and cluttered with outdated furniture and fake plants. The throw pillows sitting on the bed are stained from use (likely from people putting them on the floor/housekeeping not washing them). The runner on the vanity table in the bedroom is stained and had a previous guest's hair on it. The vanity was unnecessarily cluttered, making it difficult to use. The stand-up vacuum is dusty but stored in the entrance of the bedroom, so you run into it when entering the room. The rugs aren't taped down, so they move with your suitcases. I discovered the shower drain was clogged during my only shower, which caused the water to quickly become ankle-deep. I reached out to the owner, who advised me to clean the drain... since I hadn't been the one to clog the drain, I declined. They offered to stop by that night but I was getting ready for an event, so I declined that, too. Pros: 1st fl access, a convenient light switch by the bed, a quiet ceiling fan, and an ideal location. IMO I'd rather stay in a nice hotel that was cheaper.
