Miramar Apartment Stay

We liked the neighborhood a lot, the apartment was nice, clean and updated. It is directly in front of the pool and pickleball courts. Only downsides were, the AC woudn't get below 75 during the day, it was only 90 outside. Also the refrigerator barely worked so we had to keep all of our drinks in the coolers and buy ice every day.

What a great weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was so clean and perfect space for us! So close to the pool and an easy drive to the beach. The resort has personal parking so you don’t have to go on any main roads and it’s just a few steps over 98 to the beach side. The only issue we had was the golf cart was not available for us due to being in the shop. That was one of the main reason we booked this place, but I also understand it was out of anyone’s hands. We were compensated for it not being available. Will definitely stay again!!

Perfect Vacation Haven

The place was just as described. Plenty of space for a family of 6. Convenient to the beach and pool. Golf cart was such a nice bonus! It made getting around very easy! Would return! No negatives except the dryer does not work that great, however, there is a community washer and dryer at the bottom of the stairs so it wasn’t a big deal.

wonderful experience

condo was very clean. extra beach accessories were a real help. use of golf cart was helpful for trips to beach. close access to beach and pool was a big plus. we had trouble with the dryer not working, but the repairman came timely to repair. condo was nicely decorated and accommodated 9 of us comfortably. everyone we met at the complex was very friendly. we would definately stay again.

Everything was good. The accommodations were appropriate for our family. We didn’t have a parking pass on arrival but that was remedied quickly. Loved having access to the golf cart.

Highly recommend- we'll be back!

We had a GREAT visit! The location is great, the pool right behind the building was fabulous. The golf cart was VERY handy and we loved taking it over to the beach every day. Even though it was pretty busy, it was never that hard to get a parking spot at the beach. Management was great with any questions or help we needed!! The ONLY complaint I have and the only reason I'm mentioning it is to leave a tip for the future if it happens again- the dryer unit was in need of repair and the parts needed to be ordered... so we were without the dryer for the week. We ended up needing to visit a laundromat (the closest one) that was about 15 minutes away... only to find out that there were coin-operated units just under the stairs outside of the unit in a closet! Our downstairs neighbor pointed it out when they saw us coming back with our clean laundry, lol. Highly recommend this property, though, and we will definitely be back. We had my husband and I, my brother in-law and his gf, and a handful of teenagers & kids- the bunk room was perfect for us!

Mislead

Because we have a large family of grown children and their spouses (and one 15-year old), one of the things we look for in a vacation rental is a washer and dryer. We were told this unit had a washer and dryer, but upon arrival discovered it didn't work and were told to use the nearby paid washer and dryer. It was an inconvenience to stay with our clothes while in cycle, but more of a problem to find a business on a Fri. and Sat. to give us enough quarters to use the $1.75 washer and $1.75 dryer. Again, all in quarters. There was no place to get change at the Seascape property. Also, the garbage disposal was broken and sink clogged with the last families food. The kitchen lights had a short, causing them to dim and flicker. The back sliding glass door wouldn't lock and you had to use a stick to keep it closed. We later learned that management knew about the issues as they received complaints before. They even admitted that they "Should have told us" ahead of time, but conveniently didn't, but admitted they knew AFTER checkout. My wife told the management about the washer and dryer issue and said that we had a large family with one pregnant daughter-in-law - she told them the washer and dryer was a must for clean beach towels and bathing suits, etc. and asked to be moved. They claimed to have checked to see about other units, but after 30-seconds on hold, they said no other units were available. ALL of these problems are minor for day-to-day residence, but should not be issues for a family on vacation! After checkout we asked for a full or at minimum half refund and told them we visit Destin 3X per year and always used VRBO, which is 100% true - later they refunded us a measly $156, which we still don't know how they derived at that number? I even used VRBO in Cuba and didn't have issues with our property. Thankful to say that this was our first ever bad experience.

Great place and location

The place was awesome!!!The only problem was the washer wasn't working and didn't get fixed. Other then that it was great. The beach was close by. We took the golf cart to the beach so that was a plus. I would recommend this place to anyone not traveling with kids since it's on the 2nd floor just because I know my son was running around and I knew the bottom neighbors could hear because i asked and apologized for the noise. It's a very quiet place too.

A Perfect Get Away!

We loved our stay here. We felt like we were in our private oasis but yet minutes from the beach!! Our kids had so much fun. We especially enjoyed the back deck and spent hours out there. We really LOVED the golf cart! We would stay again!!

Great location!

Property was just as pictured! Location was great! The golf cart was a huge plus. It fit all of our stuff for the beach plus the 6 of us! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the fact that the second bedroom only has a full size bed. It should be upgraded to a queen (but we knew that coming into it). It’s just too small for an adult couple to sleep in.

Much needed and amazing!!

My family and a few friends needed to get away and this place was perfect. Just a few hiccups with the parking passes and the golf cart. It was resolved so quick it didn't bother us at all.
