From the special cupcakes and note for my mom's birthday that were in our room on our arrival, to the fresh, delicious, made-to-order breakfasts, wonderful service, and thoughtful touches such as umbrellas, ponchos, and rubber boots available for use. It was raining and cloudy the week we were there but cleared up on our last day and we were able to enjoy the amazing views and the walking trails on the property. 'Beautiful property overall! I recommend planning to stay on site and enjoy the infinity pool, maybe tubing on the river, taking a guided birding walk with an expert guide. Off-site excursions also available. We stayed in a treehouse room that felt private and luxurious. Food and drinks also excellent. We were happy with not purchasing the all-inclusive package; food can be ordered a la carte and not all drinks are included in the package anyway. '

'Ocho Artisan Bungalows was fanatastic! My partner and I were there foir 3 nights, but wished we had more time! I was a bit on edge as we got there - it's on a dirt road, no lobby (just an office), and no one had ever heard of it! so I wasn't sure what we were walkiing into. But, we were immediately greeted by Ilsa and Seyu (sorry about the spelling) - who made us feel totally welcome.
