Cottages in Meren en Bergen

'We have rented quite a few cabins in this area of Maine. This one is by far the best! Easy check-in, the cabin itself was extremely clean, especially considering dogs are allowed. Kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals and even the little things like dish soap, dish scrub and even baggies. We loved the outdoor space and location to the lake. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. Will definitely stay here again!'

'The place was spacious and plenty of room for our family to stay in. Pet friendly was very important to us. The beds were extremely comfortable!The coffee maker with the freshly gound beans every morning was a delight! The place is on a nice country road with beautiful views. Area restaurants and a bike/walking path only a couple miles away.'

'The cottage was well stocked and spotless and very welcoming. My only suggestion is that I would like the bed linens to be laundered in scent free detergent. I have allergies to many scents and I know that many share my problem. ‘We enjoyed the area and loved the cottage.'

'The cabin was impeccably clean, well appointed with cutlery, pans and utensils. The information book had clear directions to get to both of the association beaches. The host even had welcome snacks out which my kids greatly appreciated! The "shed of fun" was a huge hit with my pre-teens with basketball, foosball, ping pong and darts all available for them to play with. We had a great stay and would certainly re-book!'

'We had an amazing stay at this cozy cottage. The house was exactly what we were looking for peaceful, comfortable, and tucked away in a beautiful wooded setting. The hot tub made it feel extra relaxing after long days exploring the area.The cottage was clean, well stocked with the basics, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. 'Had a great little getaway at the cottage. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen area was well stocked with plenty of dishes, plates, etc. The bathroom was very clean and had the best water pressure in the shower. I plan to go back in the summer.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Grandma’s with our two little boys and dog. It was clean, cozy and a perfect location for our weekend ice fishing trip! We enjoyed walking the rail trail, watching ducks by the dock, passing snowmobiles, and playing puzzles/games. Highly recommend for a family getaway. We would definitely stay again.'

'Lack of privacy - the bedrooms have no doors - just curtains; the bedrooms and the bathroom share one open ceiling above them so everybody can hear and smell everything that goes on in the bathroom as well as the bedrooms.'
