'De b&b is gevestigd in een oude Mansion en de renovaties zijn uitgevoerd met eerbied voor de oorsponkelijkheid. Luxe alom en ontelbare kleine attenties geven je als gast een goed gevoel. De sfeer is heel ontspannen, en het groot aantal “ returners” spreekt voor zich. '

'We were situated in "Sunset C" cabin.
It needs an overhaul!!
My husband was very upset .....bathroom was tiny!! No mat in the slippery tub; my husband slipped and fell out onto the floor. ( after requesting a mat, a female assistant brought one).
The entrance door frame around entrance door was NOT fitted to the door.... gap of 1/4" at least with light shining thru the space.
More than 2 switches/outlets did NOT WORK in Sunset C.
I believe the newer buildings are probably very nice!! But...

'It is a charming property, with wonderful views of Frenchman's Bay. We were there early so some things ( bar) was not available yet. Our upper floor room with fireplace and balcony, were lovely! The mattress could be a little softer, but otherwise, no complaints. We look forward to a return visit in the future! Staff was friendly and helpful.'

'we were here May 26-28th, our stay was fantastic.
From the minute we pulled up valet was very attentive, the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful, our room immaculate and had a beautiful view of the bay. the rooms are quiet with the best beds.
this was our first time in Portland , plenty to do and explore, however , be aware there is a good number of homeless persons actively using IV drugs, it is very sad, especially if you're having breakfast in the restaurant facing the church, with...

'I have stayed at the Lucerne multiple times now and each time has been enjoyable!
The rooms are clean, spacious and the hotel has great character. The food is pretty solid and the value is amazing.'

'The room was recently renovated and was immaculate. The beds and pillows were very good, as was the shower pressure. The chairs were uncomfortable.
There needs to be handicapped parking available near the rooms.
I would not recommend the Pub. The service was excellent, but the food was subpar.'
