'The hotel doesn't have a own parking, the location is so/so and the outside of the hotel looks like there's nothing to it but don't judge this book by it's cover. The rooms and beds are amazing. You sleep sound, like sleeping beauty and the staff is very kind and friendly. Definitely a place where I would wanna go back.'

'Great staff and location but my poor rating was because the mattress was extremely soft! Not good for one’s back and the lifts weren’t working.'

'We were very lucky because both times we parked at the hotel, we got one of the 2 slots in front of the hotel, so we didn't have to try and find the additional parking lot, but the staff did give us a map to find it. 'Easy walking distance to town and local attractions.'

'Clean and good service. Good breakfast. A bit out of range for city-centre'

'Friendly, clean and conveniently located. Breakfast was great and the owners were incredibly helpful. Really enjoyed my stay.'

'A beautiful place to stay when visiting Orkney. Ideal location to get to all the sights. Accommodation was perfect and Albert and Aileen couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!'

'We were warmly welcomed by the staff on arrival and when they showed us up to the room we fell instantly in love with the sea view. The room was very clean and in good shape. What’s more, we ate in the restaurant and the food was fresh, locally sourced and also great value for money when compared to other local options.'

'There was an issue with our original property. However Claire moved us to a different property and sorted everything out quickly and professionally, for which we are very grateful.'

'Lovely spacious room and bathroom '

'John o groats is a small area with most things closing around 6 pm. The hotel is very nice and the room and a full kitchen that means we didn’t have to rely on facilities being open. Beautiful room with great view of the North Sea.'

'This place was fantastic. Very modern and the bed was enormous and the bathroom was very good. The location was excellent. Could easily stayed there 2 nights as there was more in John O'Groats than expected.'
