B&B in Lowcountry

'Clean room, stocked with beach and bath towels. Bed and pillows were surprisingly very comfortable allowing for a great night sleep. Bath had a personal jacuzzi tub. Their outdoor jacuzzi along with their spa robes felt like a luxurious experience at the spa. The wife and I bought a wine bottle, and their front desk provided the cork opener and glasses. Breakfast was a homier version of a hotel's continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and offered golf cart rides to the local beach.'

'Quiet location providing easy walking to most of the historic and museum sites as well as restaurants aplenty. Charleston provides a downtown area shuttle (DASH) if walking is an issue. Good included breakfast with many options. Friendly staff. The accommodations are not opulent but they're comfortable and enjoyable. The draw is the history of the building and the area. The other guests were all friendly. No one was there with a "one percenter attitude."'

'We enjoyed our stay. The air-conditioning was turned up so high, and there was a vent over our bed blowing cold air on us all night long, which made it a little uncomfortable. I’m not a huge fan of the self check in. I stay at bed-and-breakfasts to be welcomed by a person. We had a bit of an issue, gaining Entry and had to call the number given. 'Air conditioning not working 3/5 -upside- fun and great views, breakfast was yummy, cookies wonderful, fun happy hour with fun wine. I loved the ride/beach chairs/umbrella. Loved that the balcony was screened in to keep out the bugs. Downfall- The AC was out down stairs and all that was said was “AC is out downstairs…sorry” on a sign on the front desk.
