I don't think they own a vacuum cleaner, or maybe it's broken or something because there were Cheerios, bits of plastic, dried mud clumps and I don't even want to know what the white stuff was in the carpets. The walls had smears, there was tape on the ceiling, and the dust on the lamps and towel shelves was thick enough to carve. The toilet paper dispenser doesn't fit a whole roll of toilet paper; you have to take it off the core to get it to actually roll. The shampoo...

'First the positives. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking was fine. I think the problem that I had with Spark is that it's listed as a Hilton facility. This raises expectations. Honestly, it's more like what you would expect from a nice Super-8 than a Hilton. The carpet and furnishings are very bare-bones. The pool is tiny. 'This was our second visit to Montage Palmetto Bluff and once again it did not disappoint. The hospitality we find here is second to none. Everywhere we went we were greeted with smiling faces. We’d like to give a special shout out to Carmela at the concierge desk who was so incredibly wonderful with our 4 year-old son, Henry. Everything she did and every recommendation she provided enhanced our stay. The natural beauty of this place is beyond compare. We cannot wait to visit again. '

'The room was nasty as there were bugs in our room, the bed was horrible and the drain to the shower would only go down very slowly. One of the maids asked us for money on Saturday stating “until she got paid tomorrow” which happened to be Easter Sunday and knew she would not get paid that day. There were also kids running up and down the hallway and slamming doors. We checked out early because of this. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!'

Boyfriend went to go get another key and I see a woman peeking out from behind the curtain in the window. I asked her if she was staying in that room and she came to the door and we spoke.
