We arrived on Friday, May 1st, to check in with a reservation for a king-size bed. Upon arrival, the front desk employee (a female staff member whose name I did not catch) informed us that no king-size bedrooms were available, while making no apparent effort to explore alternative options. Fortunately, another front desk employee, Michael, overheard the conversation and suggested checking for an accessible room so we could still have a king-size bed. Thanks to Michael’s initiative, we were able to secure a room that met our original reservation and slept comfortably. Without his assistance, we would have been placed in a room with full-size beds.
On Sunday morning, I went to the Red bar/restaurant to get a cup of coffee to go before heading to the hot tub. A female host approached me, and when I asked for coffee, she directed me to go outside to the golf course snack shack instead of assisting me at the hotel restaurant. Fortunately, another staff member, Rogelio, stepped in and kindly offered to help. When I asked him for a coffee to go, he responded promptly and courteously, providing excellent customer service.
I appreciate the help from Michael and Rogelio; my experience with other staff members was disappointing and inconsistent with what I expect from a resort of this caliber.
