lots of space in your own studio
We had a 2-room studio, with a kitchen and 2 bathrooms; lots of space for 2 adults + 1 teenager. The studio was close to the West End, so we could do everything on foot (and we like to walk). Checking in means picking up your key at the office, for check out you just leave your key in the studio, very convenient.You need to make your own breakfast, but Sainsbury was just around the corner. Because it's 2 rooms, one bedroom and one sitting room, we did not need to go te sleep at the same time, and you could watch tv at night sitting on a couch, and not sitting on your bed. The environment was pretty quiet after about 6 o'clock. We even had two bathrooms, one with a shower/toilet/washstand and one with a bathtub /toilet/washstand. Very convenient for three people!
It was rather warm that week, and because there was only one window, it was a bit hard to cool the studio; temperature was still rather high at night. The fans were really necessary. The kitchen has lots of space, a fridge, microwave and oven, and even a washing machine. The kitchenware however was really limited. 3 of each (plates, forks, spoons, knives), just enough for 3 people. Two small pans for anything you can boil, but no frying pans. So if you prefer to have a fried egg, you'll need to get yourself a frying pan. So if you just want to warm up food, that's fine, but real cooking was not possible.
