'Hotel is prima om op doorreis te gaan. 20 minuten rijden naar Kendal. Bij hotel alleen mc Donalds in de avond. Wegwerkzaamheden waardoor we om 22.00 al terug in hotel moesten zijn. 1 bed niet opgemaakt bij aankomst. Om langer. Dan 1 nacht te verblijven raden wij niet aan. Hotel heeft uitzicht op meer, maar aan de andere kant ligt deze aan parkeerterrein snelweg'

'The hotel is lovely. We arrived to find we had been upgraded from the snug to a double bedroom with a view which was lovely. But disappointed not to have a bath even after an upgrade though. There are a lot of stairs to get anywhere, which was fine but worth noting. There is access to the lake outside via a path and some stairs which is lovely. Recently refubished. Walls a little thin and you could hear voices from room next door. Also no lift and original worn stone stairs to bedrooms, so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
