'We are "stuck" here for an extra 2 days due to the Kona stirm. Staff have been exceedingy patient and friendly and accommodating during this challenging peroid. They even got me to the local emergency room for treatment of an acute injury. Our room was gorgeous!'

'The windows in the suit do not have screens, and I talked to the hotel. They spent about 90 minutes in and out of the room and told me they cannot find the right size of screen for the windows. Also the carpet is very old and dirty and has a moldy and rotten smell, hurt my throat, and difficult to breath. Also all the window sills are very dirty. It is not in a livable condition. 'The condo complex and location itself was what made the stay worthwhile. Ideal location to explore by foot and driving the southern part of Maui and Lahaina. Easy access to the ocean from the condo complex was amazing. Though would advise future guests to communicate directly via Vrbo with the host as that has the best follow-up (i.e. use vrbo messaging vs any email or phone number provided). Also, the lodging price only includes 1 day of toilet, so be prepared to buy your own if you're staying...

'Most peaceful beach, gorgeous views, within walking distance to some of the most iconic restaurants, and a great grocery store with delicious poke! Feels like home, everyone (guests, staff, etc.) are all so friendly. We saw a monk seal, sea turtles, and whales! This is the best place to be in all of Maui. We met a couple who told us they’d been vacationing to the Mauian since they honeymooned 50 years ago!!! There’s a reason they keep coming back, and we will too! ❤️❤️❤️'

'The location of the condo and how it was stocked was really nice. The description of it having air conditioning was not clear. Only the bedroom has air, leaving the rest of the condo uninhabitable and unusable for the evening hours. Being on the 3rd floor, the heat was unbearable - impossible for the loft area in the afternoons/evenings.
