Bring you family and friends and Enjoy this adorable family lake house. Located in Linn valley Kansas. Approx 50 minutes from Kansas City and 30 minutes from Overland Park. This house is on a quiet cove on the main lake approx 150 acres, . Fish, swim,
float off the private dock, Golf in community corse, bbq, or just relax with family and friends around the fire pit and patios. Don’t forget to take in the beautiful sunsets.
4th of July firework display is fabulous!

Here’s why it was great: pretty setting, family room has lots of windows to see the pretty lake, lots of space for family to hang out, kitchen had all that we needed. We were there for Thanksgiving so I’m sure it’s even better when you can enjoy the lake and kayaks.Here’s why we wouldn’t stay again: our shower didn’t drain (standing in 3 inches of water was gross), a giant centipede was in basement shower and then four more came out of the drain when kids started the water, pinball machine didn’t work, the place just needs to be thoroughly cleaned…especially the kitchen drawers and carpets. Hosts were quick and responsive to our questions.

Beautiful Lake Home

This property was perfect for our 10th annual family vacation. In fact, it was so perfect, that we want to return next summer. Beautiful home with wonderful welcoming touches. Incredible outside area with amazing dock and fire pit area. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. And everyone waves as they pass by on lake and on the roads!

Beautiful lake, well-stocked house, pool table, games, kayaks, paddle board, lilypad, plenty of seating and dining space, in other words, never a dull moment. We came back again for the second year, because we enjoyed it so much the first time.

We had a wonderful stay. The house had every amenity you might need. And every question we had was easily answered by the information left for us. The view of the lake is perfect but especially at sunset. We stayed with our family that included ages from 8 to 75. Everyone loved it. Even the neighbor John offered to give us some wood for the fire pit if we needed it. We are booking our stay for next summer right now.

Linn Valley Lakehouse

Of the three different lake houses we have rented, this was by far the best equipped. There's 2 kayaks (one for 2 adults, one for child), a lily pad, paddle board, life vests, noodles for the water, Cornhole, Poleish, KanJam, tennis rackets & more for yard games, and a pool table, and board games for indoors. In addition the kitchen & bathrooms were well-equipped. Also the lake water is very clean.

fun family getaway

Great cabin. Very inviting. Great location and views. Has everything needed for a multi-family stay and entertainment for all ages (corn hole, darts, patio, firepit, dock, lilypad, pool table, fishing poles, kayaks, and so much more)! Comfortably slept a group and had everything we really needed other than food (which it had a kitchen supplied with everything necessary to make a meal). All the little things (candy basket, bath robes, pillows, first aid kit) were an extra homelike feeling. Also recommend the nearby golf course (great shape, casual vibe).

4th of July Weekend

Our family along with another family stayed at this house for the 4th weekend. It was a great experience. The house was perfect, the dock was amazing. The host had lots of games and activities for the kids. We will definitely be staying again!
