The Space:
Recently renovated, our kitchen features fresh and fun new cabinets, quartz counters and stainless-steel appliances. Enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine on the spacious deck. The comfortable living room is great to watch a movie or big game on the 55-inch LED Smart TV. Both bedrooms feature king-sized beds and luxury bedding. Parking provided in attached parking lot.

You'll have all the comforts of home in this completely renovated condo. Kitchen is fully-equipped with all cookware, bakeware, glasses, dinnerware, etc. You'll enjoy a gourmet cup of coffee brewed by the Keurig machine and topped off with flavored creamer and sugar. Master bedroom features king-size bed and a 43-inch Smart TV. Second bedroom also has a king-size bed and large closet. Leave the bathroom essentials at home! We provide fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hair dryer. Washer/dryer included.

**Variations in furniture/furnishings could vary due to replacement over time, but will always be of like kind as shown in the listing photos and detail.

The Neighborhood:
Our condo is located just a few blocks from the Country Club Plaza. Designed in 1922, the Plaza was built as the country's first suburban shopping district. Stroll through it's endless options of stores, restaurants and nightlife. Make sure to stop along the way to admire the art & architecture. Numerous fountains, sculptures and murals make the Plaza a true outdoor art gallery. Close proximity to Westport, Brookside and Downtown.

Getting Around:
If you opt to not bring a car, RideShare options are plentiful and easily available. KC Metro bus line also has a stop down the street. If you're feeling adventurous, hope on a Bird or Lime scooter and go exploring!

Other Things to Note:

Up all night
People staying above us had children who were running and jumping up and down until after 1am. I asked them nicely to quiet down and they just got louder. Also our parking spot was taken.

Place had some smells and some roaches. Also had a gas leak in the night
Stayed for one night. My friends and I arrived in the late afternoon to drop our stuff off before going to a concert nearby. The first thing we noticed was the smell, which begins as soon as you open the door to the building. It smells like there was a cat hoarding situation, it’s a very off putting smell. The AC was not working and it was 76 degrees in the apartment, which has a large sliding door on the west side so it’s not surprising how high the temp got with no working AC. We left pretty quickly for the concert and got back around midnight. The gas company was outside and we were informed there was a gas leak in the building. The gas guys cut the gas line and made some comments about the landlord being difficult to work with. The landlord assured us it was still safe to stay but we confirmed with the gas company too. We noticed some cockroaches by the bathroom/bedroom area as well as on the patio outside. If it hadn’t been 1am before the gas issue was resolved and we realized the cockroach situation, we would have likely left. Overall, this was a poor rental experience. It felt like a crappy unit that they tried to dress up with a couple of quick updates to make the pictures look nice. One of our buddies wasn’t big on cockroaches so opted to sleep in the car. We want a full refund.

Do yourself a favor… pick another place
The accommodations, communication, and overall experience was awful. Incredibly noisy, the one shower didn’t work, and the host ghosted us when we reached out to express our displeasure. The location was quite convenient although the parking is challenging at best. I’ve NEVER left a negative review on this app, but this was, without a doubt, the worst experience we’ve ever had.

Big disappointment
I’m a longtime VRBO customer and have never had a problem until now. This property was very shabby. Thin walls between units made it difficult to sleep. The noise was disturbing. We were told it was on the first floor but there was a flight of stairs. They described the unit as larger than it was.A bed was crammed into one room that didn’t allow you to close the door. We don’t advise anyone to stay here.

Not as nice as we hoped
We booked ahead of time but never got the right check in information from the property owner and had a very hard time getting in touch with them once we arrived. There was no bakeware, not even a cookie sheet to make biscuits on. The towels were all different and the wash cloths were fraying at the ends. The front door had a dead bolt but didn’t stay shut unless the dead bolt was engaged. I like to feel like the place I’m staying is a little nicer than home but that was not the case here. The location/proximity to restaurants, shopping and Country Club Plaza was awesome and we really enjoyed waking there daily. If we were to return I would probably stay in the same area but at another location.

I do not recommend this property
This is a very old building and the walls are paper thin. I could hear the upstairs neighbors conversations and rolling over in bed. The squeaky mattresses and bedding were poor quality and very used. There was no way to take a bath only showers.

Overpriced but overall ok
Condo itself is much older than expected but updated nicely. Carpet needs to be replaced and paint needs to be touched up in several places. There was a dripping stain on one of the bedroom walls, possibly from bleach being sprayed on there. There was a weird drooping in the ceiling above the shower, likely from a prior leak. The washing machine also leaked a bit. Overall was clean though. The nights were pretty miserable due to noise. The walls seem to be paper thin and the neighbors were talking with music going until 4am. Other recommendations I have would be some plastic cups and bowls available for smaller children, more shelving in the bathroom over the toilet, more than 1 hand towel available for the bathroom and kitchen towel for the kitchen. And better quality TP :)

KU Medical Stay
We rented this place while my husband was receiving radiation treatments at KU, so we probably spent more time in the unit during the day than most renters. We loved it. The decor is just as the pictures show, fresh and relatively new. Both bedroom's had carpet, while the main area had beautiful hardwood floors. The 2 king beds and linens were comfortable and clean. The place was large enough to accommodate my husband, daughter, and 2 Newfoundland dogs. The whole neighborhood is very dog friendly, with pet waste stations through out the blocks. On street parking was always available, and the on site parking spot for unit 2 was plenty large for a minivan. Check in and check out went very smooth. We walked to dinner and Andy's frozen custard, up on 39th street, in the evening and at night, and felt safe. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. The coffee station was a morning delight. A few things not mentioned in the listing is that the unit had daily cleaning supplies with a swifter and vacuum cleaner. They went above and beyond providing face tissues, extra rolls of paper towels and TP. The hall closet had extra towels, and they even provided laundry soap! I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for such nice accommodations, that provided us with the space and amenities in our time of need for rest and relaxation. Rita

Great Location/Great Neighborhood
Condo was located in a wonderful neighborhood easy walking to Westport and the Plaza! The condo was neat and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of on street parking (if you are driving an SUV) and one dedicated spot in the parking lot for regular sized vehicles. We never had a problem finding street parking. Alex we great to work with, and responsive to our contact. Easy check in/check out. Walls are a bit thin so expect some daytime noise but everyone respected each others quiet hours and had no issue whatsoever. Highly recommend this spot for the ease of access to the Plaza and Westport.

Good location to the plaza and decent condo. The cleanliness of this condo upon check in was terrible. I had to remove all bedding and re-wash. I emailed the property owner regarding the cleanliness and never received a response. It is also very loud, you can hear everything outside and above you.

Convenient location
The property is functional, but not fancy. It was a bit smaller than we expected. We rented three units in the same building for family members and that worked out well. The property managers were very responsive.

Great Location
We were very happy with everything about this property. It was a great location. We were in KC in order to visit a family member receiving care at St. Luke's Hospital, but would have been a fun place to stay if we just wanted to have fun at the Plaza too. Close to shopping and resturants!

Great Kitchen
The unit was pleasantly decorated and had a very nice kitchen which included everything needed for making a snack or full course meal! The location is close to the Plaza, Westport, and area attractions. The owners/managers were responsive and easy to work with. The one down side is you can hear the neighbors, and the HVAC system is rather loud. Overall, good value for proximity and convenience
