« Excellent place to stay! Walking distance to town and rainbow falls! Loved that we had our own parking spot. The apartment was filled with everything we would need for the stay and more. The hosts communicated well and gave a lot of suggestions on things to do on the island. I loved our stay and will stay again when I return! »

« The host was great. Id question the value of price for location. The parking lot and general was sketchy. This unit has upgraded finishes, countertops, and fixtures. But it had an odd and unpleasant smell. If you were at a hotel you would probably have requested a different room. But not an option in vrbo land. »

« Marc Nishimoto is such a great guy, if there were any issues it was because of my ignorance; for a simple 2-3 day stay it was perfect for me and my family, if there was any problem, I thought the bath/shower floor was a litttle slippery, but the kitchen was fully stocked, lots of towels, beds good, and an ideal location if you want to check out Kamehmeha Avenue's strip of stores. »

« This was the worst place we stayed in Hawaii. Dust, mold and even rotten food were found in the accommodation. The swimming pool is not heated as advertised. Any compensation was refused by the apartment manager. Avoid at all costs! »

« The entire property was magical--such a peaceful and serene area. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Owl Nest. The property was equipped with everything I needed, making my experience completely comfortable. One of my favorite details was how, by opening all the curtains, you feel almost as if you’re sitting outside. « My family (4 adults and 1 child) found this 2-bedroom unit very comfortable with a king bed and two double beds in the second bedroom to accommodate the young child with her parents. There was even a queen size sofa in the living room if we needed it too! The unit was clean, recently renovated with new appliances, and had all the needed amenities—even hair spray! There were eating establishments close enough for a nice walk. We would reconsider this Hilo condo should we visit Hilo in the future. »
