Chalets in Guemes Island

'The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfy . The check-in was easy and the staff is incredible. The one thing about the rooms, they back up to a busy road , so expect some noise. But if you’re like me , you don’t really hear it , once you’re asleep.'

'There are really no amenities, such as a pool, hot tub, or fitness center. There is a laundry, which we did not use. The unit itself was very clean. The beds were comfortable; even the fold-out couch had a decent mattress. They use low-wattage lightbulbs because the lighting is fairly dim, except in the bathroom, which is well-lit. The kitchen was why I gave it only 4 stars. The pans are nice stainless steel, which I like, but there was only a scouring sponge to clean them - no steel wool...

'When we arrived at the hotel, I discovered that I had accidentally booked the wrong evening. Fortunately, they had a room, and were very accommodating to switch nights for us! It was within walking distance of multiple restaurants, had plenty of offstreet parking, and for the price, was great.'

'We had a lovely one-night stay. The room was comfortable and spotless, with pretty period furnishings. The amenities were thoughtful (particularly appreciated that they tucked noisy/bright appliances into armoires), and the cookies welcome and delicious. We left before seated breakfast was served but the to-go burritos were awesome.'
