'Quaint and beautiful historic hotel! Right in downtown Placerville. We loved strolling from the hotel to all the cute shops and antique stores along the row. Hotel itself was clean, well managed with friendly staff. Shower was hot with great pressure! We loved the antique look of the rooms. Bonus: if you like ghosts and spooky stories, this hotel is great! We loved watching the Portals to Hell episode about the hotel… in the hotel! Overall, fantastic experience.
