'We stayed in Richard's property for a week-end to celebrate a 60th birthday. We had wanted to visit Carcassonne for a long time - the area, and the accommodation, were perfect, and we enjoyed interesting conversations with Richard, who also recommended an excellent restaurant ten minutes' walk away. The apartment is very quiet: all we could hear from the terrace in the evening was the river and water birds; but at the same time it is a short walk up to the mediaeval citadel in one direction, and...

'J'étais enchanté par ce petit paradis dans le creux d'une vallée. Les propriétaires sont à l'image de ce petit coin douillet. Très accueillant et soucieux de faire plaisir. Nicole et sa 2 chevaux m 'ont fait passer un merveilleux moment dans la région. C'est un lieu de vie que je recommande fortement et en plus on y dort très bien.'

'We stayed only two days, winter time, so that we could not profit from the exterior, but we saw the potential. We particularly liked the interior decoration. '

'We stayed one night. In 350 meters you can be in the medieval city. Travel 50 meters down the hill, turn on the path and you are there. Such a perfect location. Paul was great and easy to communicate with. We had a lovely dinner at the Sarl le Creneau and saw Remparts et Lumieres at night. We had a wonderful day exploring the village during the day. We would definitely come back and stay again.'

'This is a very cute little property right on the outside of the city walls, abiut 6 minited walk in the side entrance of the city walls. It was recently renovated and very quaint and clean. The 3rd bedroom/2nd full bath are actually in a small out building from the main house which i did not realize but actuallu worked very well for separation. Lovely outside space to site and have a glass of wine! '
