'Restaurants and location were great. Had to wait in a long line when my keycards were not working. Extended checkout time was not possible despite being a Hilton Gold member. Room was cleaned only once in three nights.'

'In general the property was quite nice. Rooms are spacious if somewhat run down (they were doing some renovations though so that might be solved soon). It is in a nice location by the ocean and the bar/restaurant was very enjoyable with good staff. The pool is somewhat small but acceptable, the private lagoon somewhat makes up for this though (it is also a great place to try out your snorkel before going into the ocean). 'Beautiful resort but still needs a lot of maintenance. The most frustrating part was paying the resort fee and parking fee, but watching many local residents use the facilities freely. The family pool was overcrowded with residents, not guests. The pools were supposed to close at 10PM, but on our evening walks we saw a lot of inappropriate behavior in the pools. Wondering how the facility is monitored, because it didn’t seem like there was any rule enforcement.'

'The Fairmont is likely as good of a “Resort” property as one could find. I am not a fan of Resorts, But when in Hawaii it is difficult to not stay in one. Fairmont is well presented, certainly not a value proposition, but nicely done. Good food, Bars, Pool, etc. shower in the bathtub was far better than the separate shower. Facility does need some paint and refreshing. Grounds and Location are beautiful. I like Fairmont Hotels and they are a brand I seek out, when traveling.'

'Personeel was heelnaardig, locatie was prachtig, maar onze douche gaf alleen maar koud water. We hebben bij de front desk gevraagd of er iemand naar kon kijken. We waren die dag toch de hele dag op excursie (van 7 uur ‘s morgens tot 7 uur ‘s avonds). Echter toen we terug bij de kamer kwamen stond de deur gewoon open…. 'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was our first experience at a place where clothing was optional. The staff made us feel completely at ease. We slept very well at night to the gentle sounds of rain and the small creatures trilling outside. We encourage anyone to try this place.'
