'We booked through Expedia and booked an “Oceanfront” room. When we arrived we got checked and noticed our room was partial ocean view and located on the 2nd floor right above the bar and by the pool (where every night we heard screaming kids and people at the bar at 3am. We complained but nothing was done.). We pleaded that we came from Arizona and asked to be moved to a different room preferably upper level and Oceanfront which we thought we had purchased. They told us that it was the only room...

'Restaurants and location were great. Had to wait in a long line when my keycards were not working. Extended checkout time was not possible despite being a Hilton Gold member. Room was cleaned only once in three nights.'

'Beautiful resort but still needs a lot of maintenance. The most frustrating part was paying the resort fee and parking fee, but watching many local residents use the facilities freely. The family pool was overcrowded with residents, not guests. The pools were supposed to close at 10PM, but on our evening walks we saw a lot of inappropriate behavior in the pools. Wondering how the facility is monitored, because it didn’t seem like there was any rule enforcement.'

'The unit looks brand new. It was one of the cleanest places we have stayed on the Big Island. The location is great since it is in the middle of downtown Kona. We were able enjoy the downtown without the usual hassle of finding a place to park the car.'

'This property is certainly has comfortible rooms and excellent soaps and lotions in the rooms. Maid service 2x's per day is excellent! Where the property could use improvement: cleaner pools, with 24/7 access pools water feels like a lot of bodies have made the water mucky. Access to the Ocean bay is far too hot late in the afternoon and again the water is not clear. Maybe access in the morning?? Food is average and this would include Brown's their 5 Star restaurant.
