'This is a purely functional space, generous proportions in the living area but tight in the bedrooms, but we guessed that might be the case. A broken window needs some silicone or similar as the glass is jagged. There is a huge oven and hob but there is no gas so it doesn’t work!!!! Shower good and plenty of hot water. Towel and bedding laundry cleaned. Very small fridge but as you can’t cook is okay.Site is huge and expensive. Activity passes only get you into the pool (which you can’t book)...

'The reception were not that helpful when they found out that we didn’t booked thru them. The caravan had everything we need to make our stay comfortable. The beach is 3-5 mins from the reception and 15-20 mins from the caravan. It was a bit tricky to get to as there’s not much road signage. One thing that we loved the most our stay is the heating ,water supplies and towels provided plus the hoover. It would also be nice to have a hair dryer .'

'We left early due to how uncomfortable the beds were. They was full of springs and our backs felt bruised from it. There was broken seals on the windows. The windows had gaps so it was so cold and a handle was missing on one window. Alot of the curtains were beginining to fall down. The blinds had mould on them but more shockingly so did the pillows! The carvavan had been completely neglected and needs a lot of love just to make it feel somewhat comfortable. We would not return nor recommend...

De beste hotelbeoordelingen voor East Sussex

The Lansdowne, Eastbourne

8/10 Goed

"Old hotel but still best in the area"

The Relais Cooden Beach

8/10 Goed

"It is a well-located and welcoming hotel, right by the sea. We heard from other guests that the hotel has recently been renovated. This seems to apply mainly to its appearance, as there are no new modern facilities. For exmample, we were initially a little surprised that there was no air conditioning in our room. That said, the staff and the location still made it a memorable experience. Here are a few useful things to know: * You can park for free behind the hotel, although it can get quite busy. There are also two free Porsche charging spaces. * At breakfast, you can help yourself to the continental options, such as croissants and toast, while everything else needs to be ordered at the table. Try to do this as soon as you are shown to your table, as breakfast can get very busy and you may otherwise have to wait quite a while for your tea or coffee and your ordered food. The food is very good and the staff work very hard and are friendly. * Our room did not have air conditioning or a fridge, so keep this in mind if you are visiting during the summer. * You are given a room key with a large key fob, which can be a little impractical to carry around. * The train station is around the corner and thankfully you can hardly hear the trains * I was unable to take a warm shower in the late evening. It is possible that the tap thermostat was faulty or that the boiler had run out of hot water. I would recommend checking this when you arrive. Still definitely worth a stay!"

The Grand Hotel Eastbourne

10/10 Voortreffelijk

"This was our second stay at The Grand. Our first visit made us come back. This hotel is unique, you feel a real guest every second you are there. Special thank you to David, the concierge! We combined our stay with a 3 day trip to London. Definitely coming back again to Eastbourne and stay at this amazing hotel."
