« Remote location a top North Peak a 6000ft. The view is just amazing with a deck to take it all in. Coffee and Knitting each morning. Amazing being up above the clouds. It was exactly the retreat that my wife and I wanted. The place can be a little tricky to find after dark so checking in during daylight is key. « The cottage is immaculate and decorated in a very pleasant manner that fits the Julian vibe. When I had questions, the host answered them quickly. All appliances are new, the kitchen and bath have both been very recently remodeled with attractive finishes. Very pleasant ambiance. My only cautionary note is that when booked thru VRBO, my credit card was charged a very large damage deposit upfront along with the cost of the stay. Perhaps that could be reconsidered. »

« Awesome place to enjoy nature and check out the area of Julian. Loved the amenities including the porch bed swing and multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy. Kitchen has tons of appliances and utensils for cooking and baking. Only issues we encountered was the jet tub off the main bedroom was out of service, the downstairs room off the kitchen was sweltering hot, and turning on the AC for the main area wasn't straight forward, as the remote downstairs said it was on, but we had to manually turn it on...
