'Lovely place, just lovely'

'Beautiful setting, very helpful staff, lovely hotel excellent restaurant.'

'Our room was spotlessly clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent too. Will definitely return, thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.'

'We have stayed at the Marlborough before on our travels in 2025 and when we retuned this year 2026 we wanted to stay again but longer this time. So glad we did everyone one was kind and friendly and new what they were doing. the pub itself and the rooms were excellent and vintage. The area of course is wonderful. All service, food and beverages top class. We plan on returning possibly next year and will likely stay even longer. Thank you.'

'Absolutely beautiful cottage, couldn't have wished for more and Lou was an amazing host. Thank you Lou for making me feel so welcome. I will definitely be returning x'

'We had a great stay at Leno Villa as 2 couples wanting a short break to explore the local area. We particularly enjoyed the outside space, games around the dining table and the comfortable bedrooms. The house is well equipped and well placed for local trips into Manningtree, Flatford Mill (we kayaked from Constable Park, which is a 2 minute walk from the house!) and Dedham. A sign of a good stay is an eagerness to return and we’d be back in a flash! Thanks to Stef & Team :-)'

'Beautiful property in a great location.'

'A large suite with separate bedroom and bathroom, both of a very generous size. This was offered as an upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Staff most attentive and food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommended.'

'Convenient for arrivals at Harwick port. Nice swimming pool with family section. '

'Lovely evening and the lovely bit that served in the restaurant was fab.'

'Beatiful building and setting. Excellent staff. Food 7/10. Its classical which is fine but maybe uninteresting.'

'Great hotel, staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and well furnished. Great breakfast and nice facilities. Would be happy to stay there again.'
