'Great hotel '

'Clean room: On our first day, we noticed that the bed sheets had specks of blood. Housekeeping had either forgotten to change the sheets or did not do so properly. We called the front desk to report this issue, as it was unacceptable. Housekeeping did change the sheets, but the front desk clerk never apologized or offered any compensation, such as a complimentary breakfast. They only changed the sheets without addressing our concerns further. Did not meant to rate the Breakfast, there was not...

'A location full of history but you can see/feel that it is somewhat outdated. First room we were given had a very strong damp smell. Luckily the reception guys could find us another room. All in all a decent stay. Location is just beautiful. '

'We came here to celebrate a birthday. I notified the hotel ahead of time and made a few additional arrangements to celebrate which they accommodated and executed as requested and to my liking. The dinner reservations were easy to make and the staff at Makeda were so nice. They prepared the food, had a gentleman come to our table to sing checked in on us throughout the night and had a nice bday celebration dessert.'
