'From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff was amazing; welcoming and so knowledgeable! The decor is sumptuous; not only the lobby, but the room (not one of the rail car rooms) felt like an indulgence. For some reason the atmosphere brought to mind “The Queen’s Gambit;” so cooooool; retro, but perfectly modern. I appreciated the in-room eco-friendly waters, and the cute postcard. We will stay here every time we visit Chattanooga in future.'

'Such a cool hotel which was perfect for our trip to Chattanooga. The staffing was awesome the views from our room were amazing. It was walkable to pretty much everything we needed and we only had to take a couple of short drives.'

'The vibe of this place was really cool. Bartender Jonathan was awesome too. They have a rotating signature drink menu that fits the hotel or bar theme. Its really a unique stay. The breakfast is good and the dinning area is beautiful. Something definitely out of the usual stop through the South. The Hotel is 100+ years old but doesnt show the wear of the old historic look other building do. We will certainly be back.'

'Very disappointed with this hotel. Booked 3 rooms for 4 nights. The walls are paper thin — you can hear literally everything from your neighbors, so there’s constant noise. Rooms on the pool side also suffer from a loud whistling wind noise. There’s a space under the door so light and noise from hallway enters the room. The beds are completely worn out — you sink into a hole and wake up with back pain. The elevators are extremely slow. Housekeeping was poor: the bed wasn’t even made (pic), just...
