'We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.'

'The room was ok. A bit expensive at $450 a night. The room had big chucks of paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom, the bathroom floor is extremely slick tile, and the shower sprays SCALDING hot water every minute or so while in use. It is as if the cold water just get routinely shut off once a minute. I WOULD BE VERY CAREFUL BATHING YOUR CHILDREN IN THERE! The grounds are minimally kept. However, the staff was amazing and always kind and polite.'

'Super easy check in, a great place to rest quick after seeing Sequoia! Not a huge space but enough for my boyfriend and I for a night. Walls are thin so if you are a light sleeper, be aware of that. Otherwise, great spot to spend the night!'

'The room was clean and very cute however there was no one at the front office when we got there and their maintenance man saw us in the parking lot asking for our contact info without ever telling us who he was. He was trying to be helpful but I except someone to be available at the office upon check in. In addition there was work being done in the room above us and all kinds of of banging happening until 11 at night and then again starting at 6 AM'

'The room was perfect! So welcoming and clean. We had everything we needed. We were visiting Yosemite National Park and coming back each day after a long day of hiking we showered and relaxed. The view from the our personal deck was beautiful. I would love to return to Sierra Mountain Lodge for a stay. It was the best accommodation out of our three stays and I feel we had picked great places to stay. Thank you! I would recommend Smokehouse 41 for the best BBQ and I’m from Texas. The stuffed white...
