Herbergen in Castle Combe

'I stayed in a log cabin at the back of the Inn's garden. It was both private and very comfortable. Including kitchen facilities and a smart TV with Netflix and Prime Video etc. There was also a nice little porch area with a view of the fields behind the property. The Inn itself is a beautiful old cottage with a large picturesque garden. My only complaint would be the unrequested wakeup calls. I booked with breakfast included, the staff thought they would helpfully bang on my window periodically...

'We loved staying at this fantastic old pub the staff were great breakfast was fantastic and included in the price. The only 2 things I would change is the bed, it was rock hard and could’ve don’t with a soft top mattress topper to fix this problem, and there was no air conditioner and the room was very hot so a ceiling fan or even a pedestal fan could be in the rooms. Other than that everything else was great. '

'Ontzettend leuke, authentieke locatie met bijzonder vriendelijke mensen. Kleine, maar gezellige kamers met veel sfeer. Eén klein minpuntje: in één van de kamers was het onmogelijk om je haar te föhnen in de buurt van een spiegel.'

'A Hidden Gem of a Hotel. Staff Are All very Friendly and made us Feel very Welcome. Food is First Class. Grounds are very well Manicured. Excellent base for Visiting Bristol, but you will need a Car as Hotel is off the Beaten track.'

'Overall the property was in a great location.Flat was everything that you needed. Pity however that it was missing just a few little touches. A small bottle of milk would not have gone amiss. No salt and pepper. The TV remote control needs to be replaced. Control buttons not working . Could not get any BBC channels on free view . All small problems . The entry instructions were great and very clear. '
