We have traveled to Cancun numerous times and this time was the absolute best! Best customer service, all staff friendly and amazing! Donovan at Zen was the best manager so helpful and accommodating. Food was good at all restaurants, drinks were great all around! Rooms were very clean, the beach was maintained perfectly! The kids loved the basketball court and raved about room service! VIP experience created a more private experience! Would definitely stay here again!!

Powercuts almost everyday. Conceierge staff and reception staff and horrible and rude. The only well spoken staff is restaurants and bars. We then went to the restaurant for dinner and ordered vegetarian pasta. It was over boiled carrot, uncooked pasta and raw corgett Tuesday we went to an Asian restaurant where we were not served for the first 50 minutes. . The staff are mostly rude, when I ask them anything, they shrug their shoulders. Yet they constantly ask us to leave good Google reviews. Everywhere in the hotel we see dirt and dust and the rooms aren’t clean to the point where the phone is caked in dust. No hot water after swimming, no lounge chairs to sit on. Toilet blocked. Most disgusting place ever

I am so disappointed with my latest stay at the Hard Rock in Cancun. I still cannot get over the fact that I paid almost $16,000 for two rooms and the rooms were disgusting and when I say this disgusting I mean that they need major renovation, there werr holes in the walls, dirt underneath the bed tiles falling off in the shower tiles falling off all over the pool, spider webs on the rooms, dirt all over the floor. Aside from being dirty, and breaking apart, this hotel needs a major renovation, it should close down and completely renovate. It is so outdated and dark the hot tubs in the rooms take up all of the space there was barely any room to put our luggage’s bc of the outdated hot tub. My husband is an owner of Marriott hotels and we could have easily stayed next-door at the JW Marriott, which is clean updated and has excellent food at a discounted rate but instead we chose to stay at the hard rock with all inclusive food, which there was the same food at the pool every single day, and if I had to write the food, I would write it at a two out of a 10. I would love to get a refund that’s how much I regret staying at the hard rock. The staff was not as friendly as they have been in the past. Two years ago we stayed at the hard rock in Cabo and the staff was amazing. I expected way more from the staff, but I cannot say there was even one staff member that was extremely nice. Most of them were rude and short with us.. would I stay here or recommend anyone to stay here

My room was very minimal Ocean View! I paid for Ocean view room and they gave me not what i was expecting and i asked to be charged they told me they can change next day. I didn’t agree as i was in Cancun already 5 night will be so inconvenient checking out at 11 am and no access to new room after 4pm. I had to unpack basically and pack again and will waste ky vacation date or so. So I wasn’t happy with that . I paid for Ocean view should of have ocean view room from beginning. Food was great! Rooms are very clean! Service in Restaurants ok not as amazing

Cleaning lady broke my cologne and they made it ridiculously difficult to get compensated. First they said I have $250 to spend at the rock shop, then they said it was only a few select things. I couldn’t even get a shot glass. I spent 900$ on activities at the resort and I asked to just be refunded the $250 for the housekeepings mistake but they refused. None of this makes any sense.

I’m leaving my vacation at the Hard Rock Cancun extremely disappointed and frustrated. I stayed in a family suite with five others for four nights with half of our stay having no hot water, over half of our stay with an extreme leak coming from the bathroom, strong sewage smells in our suite the entire stay, and rooms so humid the mirrors were foggy. The customer service that met us when we brought up these issues were poor, time-consuming, and unacceptable. We were sent in circles talking from one person, to the next, to waiting for calls and waiting for manager responses and weren’t offered any form of compensation that we feel was equal to the issues we were having. We were offered the option between a free steak or free beach chair rental (food is already all-inclusive and there are free chair options) contingent we sign a non-disclosure agreement with the hotel. The hotel refused any sort of partial refund and wasted our time. Additionally, service at the bars was poor. My travel party are all Asian and a few of my group heard the bartenders call us “chino chino” multiple times which means Chinese in Spanish. We were also met with resistance when trying to order drinks at certain points within our trip. At the start of the trip, we could order yhr drinks we wanted, but at one point they refused to give us drinks and shrugged and shook their head when we inquired why we couldn’t drink when it was all inclusive. The Toro steakhouse gave one of us food poisoning.

Entertainment was meh. VIP is only if you buy a time share. Not all cabana's / seating or pools available to us non hall of fame people. Black wrist bands are the VIP due to purchasing a time share. I did love my ocean view, which was what I paid for. The food was good. Zen needs a reservation so make that between 11-4 it may be made days in advance. Toro was excellent and isla was very good as well. Frida was our breakfast and lunch spot. It’s a buffet. The grill outside had me hooked on cheese fries with jalapeños. Tips will keep your drinks coming. If you use the hot tub READ the instructions. lol. Drinks in fridge are refilled daily. They cleaned our room every day except our last. The airport took our toopaste so the hotel brought us some twice. I did tip them every time they came.

I attended my friend’s wedding at the Hard Rock Cancun and stayed for a week on the Rock Royalty level! It came with its own private patio, a private pool area and two private bars and the most amazing staff! I want to send a special thank you to Tony, Tefy, Yared, Yisus, Ivan and our favourite bartender Jules! Thank you for all that you did to make my stay exceptional!!!

The bed was so uncomfortable had a sore back the whole time I was there. Service was good and friendly. Food choices were not good. VIP service was we were approached about time share BS. Watch out for them, they will lie to you just to get you to go to breakfast and see a fancy room and pressure you over and over to sell you a time share. Loud music almost every night can’t even relax I wouldn’t stay here again. Nice vacation away from the hotel and better food. Try Taco tequila at isla mall
