Right on the lake. Lots of open space. It was like going back to the summer camp of my childhood bunk beds and all. The cabin we rented had two bedrooms and a bathroom. No kitchen but we knew that and planned accordingly. Spent just two nights to attend a family wedding in the beautiful WI area.
If you ever want to relive your childhood camp experiences, this is the place. So much offered to keep you and the fam occupied. Martha & team were on-point with getting us settled in, and anything we needed. Will stay here again!
This is my second time staying at the gorgeous Pepin Y-Camp (first stay was in July). Five of us, ages 33-62, thoroughly enjoyed our fall weekend getaway. Martha is so accommodating and kind. We spent time on the beach rock finding, walked the neighborhood & disc golf trails through in the woods. We visited both Pepin & Stockholm for shopping & lunches and hiked Maiden Rock which was stunning. All were within minutes of the Y-Camp! Our suite included an extra room off of the bunk/ bathroom which we called The Parlor because of the sofa, fridge/cooler & fireplace. We did our own wine tasting, painting & crafts, games, facials, pedis & maniâs, and yoga and there was plenty of space for all five of us, although we did bring an extra folding table. We cooked over the fire and ate at the picnic table outside our cabin. We brought our own electric griddle & instant pot for a few meals inside the cabin. I recommend this gem of a stay to anyone who wants to be surrounded by beauty and peace & quiet with the option of exploring the quaint towns just a few miles away.
We had a great time staying at Camp Pepin over Labor Day weekend. The beach and boat launch were a short walk from the cabins. Martha was a fantastic host.
Martha was awesome! If you want to teach anyone the definition of worker its Martha. She is extremely busy with not much help because of covid but she is so willing in anyway to help. Property is great if you want to be outside and have fun. If you want to sit in the cabin and be on wifi this isnt for you. We will return next year after the YMCA campers are done for the year if available. A week next year.
The place was very nice, got no complaints whatsoever. I would recommend bringing water shoes as the beach has some sharp rocks, they have some there for you to use but i would have prefered my own.
We are four adults who came to the Pepin Y Camp for an extended weekend to enjoy Lake Pepin on our runabout boat. Martha and Erik were awesome! They were attentive, personal, and kind. They kept us fully stocked with fresh drinking water & ice. The camp cabin was clean and very spacious. They provided extra box fans which allowed us to sleep comfortably in the July heat. They introduced us to the resident eagles living nearby and whom we got to watch catch & eat fish. The property is huge and we had a nice breeze the entire stay. We often brought our chairs down to the beach. I look forward to returning in September with my sisters & adult nieces. They offer free use of kayaks & paddleboards which we werenât able to fit into this trip. I would recommend this gem of a getaway to anyone! There was a family with two young children next to our cabin and those kids had a blast on the property.
We absolutely loved our stay at the camp! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. They had so many boats for us to use for free on the lake. The lake was warm all weekend. Remember to bring firewood for cooking and bedding. Only negative was there were a lot of spiders in the cabin but thatâs to be expected in that kind of environment. Easy check in and check out. Highly recommend!
