'I love that they had breakfast at 4:30 in the morning, which made it great for setting out on an early tour. The staff were incredible. They stowed our luggage which was fantastic. The property was a bit loud as there were many dogs across the street barking all night. And it was a little too far away from the center of town for my liking. The hot water handle broke, but they did come up to fix it but the water pressure was extremely low'

'Our room was very basic but very clean. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. It was a little noisy at times - the walls are thin. Curiously, there was no hot water hookup to the bathroom sink (we turned on the shower if we needed hot water). Location was excellent and the included breakfast was good.'

'Cool location, nice room with our own plunge pool but, very big but, the dinner is horrible. Really bad food, advice is just walk into town and grab a burger!!!'

'The guy in the front desk asked for $15 USD extra if we pay by credit card, for a 1 night stay!! This is a absolute rip-off (12% added to final booking cost shown in Expedia). We had to use our USD cash reserves to avoid.'

'The staff is super friendly. They let us check in a few hours early. They have a beautiful lobby and thet are located next to the river- the sound of the running water is amazing. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. They serve a great breakfast as part of your stay. And they kept our luggage while we visited Machu Picchu. I would highly recommend them. Sandra'

'Someone was waiting for us at the train station to take us to Rupa. That was nice because the place is not easy to find. Also someone carried the luggage which was much appreciated while it's a very steep climb to the hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated and staff is very helpfull and speak good english. So a perfect place to stay. Only negative I can say is that the showers where not hot but that is realy the only thing. '
