'There was nobody at the desk when we arrived for check-in. Multiple bell-rings, knocking on the staff door, walking the length of the hotel inside, and then the circumference of the hotel outside yielded zero staff members. It wasn't until I was circling back around the hotel that my partner came outside and said someone finally showed up at the front desk. Absolutely ridiculous. 'A very lovely quiet, clean charming place. and it was a very comfortable bed. Everything smelled nice. Would definitely stay again. It was also set up in a way that you could just wing it yourself. Plenty of extras if you need in the hall.'

'This was a great rental for a small family. We enjoyed the amazing water view, sitting on the porch with our kids. The ability to cook and do laundry was an added plus that made us feel at home. We will be renting this baby again!'

' Rey clean lovely condo with a wonderful view of the river. Sunrise was gorgeous. Bed was super comfortable. Colonial beach is my new favorite little vacation town. Very friendly people. Our host was so responsive and welcoming. Much appreciate his quick response to questions. There were a lot of steps to climb to get to the condo but that’s probably a good thing for a Bach front property. We would definitely love to stay here again. '

'The house was great! Beautiful location and very clean. We used the theatre room a LOT! Loved the big kitchen and the family room with lots of games. The dock was under repair, unfortunately, but it was raining anyway, so not too much of a loss. The host left water, coffee, snacks, and toiletries - so sweet!'
