'This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. 'The place is nice, clean, rooms very clean. Only thing is the parking. You have a small parking area at the hotel and it fills up fast. So they did have parking attendants that would take cars across the street and park them there in a separate parking lot.
Also there is a $18 fee for parking per day. Never heard of that in all the years of staying in VA beach.
I had the breakfast buffet the next morning and it was good for the price and food was good also.

'The hotel was clean and the view to the beach was beautiful. The staff were rude, not friendly, and socially awkward with me. I felt racially profiled when I entered Orion’s restaurant. I made reservations for dinner and the hostess sat me at a table in the bar area. I was asked to be moved three times before I received a nice window view of the ocean. I did not feel like I was treated fairly and with respect. I would not recommend this place to black female entrepreneurs. '
