'We enjoyed our stay. The property, the view and location were nice. The only negative was the Mongols motorcycle club convention that was going on in the area. Having bikers standing guard on every corner, with the restaurants full of Mongols carrying large knifes, was uncomfortable on vacation with kids. I assume that this was just bad timing and would normally not be an issue. There were no issues though, just a comfort thing.'

'Jules and Scott were excellent hosts - checking if we needed anything and being very responsive. The smart tv was a nice amenity allowing easy access to our Netflix account. A short 2 block walk to a lovely beach. Bikes and chairs were provided it unfortunately it was way too hot to spend much time outdoors. This would be a great stay any time of year.'

'This was a perfect location, a 9 minute walk to the beach and just a minute drive to the highway. Parking is right in front of the garage apartment. No one lives in the garage so no worries about my noisy special needs son. The apartment was just the right size for 2 of us to have our own space. He slept on a twin bed (couch) in the living room area. The kitchen was well stocked with quality cookware. I hope we get to Virginia Beach again next summer!'

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
