Kies je hotel in Surry County

'I absolutely loved this property! What a unique idea, to build 4 rooms above the marina's restaurant. The views from our room were amazing - even at night when the boats and docks were all lit up with lights. Just gorgeous. Very peaceful. Also the in room coffee was delicious - I could have sat there drinking coffee and looking out at the view all day! I will keep this place in mind for a future "getaway."'

'Nice fenced in yard for dogs, it just needed to be raked and mowed. James Divine was helpful and quick with responses to our questions. Thank you! Would stay here again if vacationing to the area again. '

'Nothing else,everything was excellent'

'Overall our stay was ok. '

'Beautiful historic home and property with an amazing view of the James River.'

'The property was very clean. There are plenty of towels and the kitchen is very well stocked. If you need an appliance, it's probably in the kitchen. The yard was well kept as well. The only down side was that it isn't as close to the water as we had expected. You can see the river, but to get to it, you basically need to drive. And the confederate flag flying on the beach is a little disconcerting. It deterred me from going down there.'

'We had a wonderful time, the veiws were amazing. The back deck was used alot by all of us . The memories made are unforgettable. Amanda thank you , can wait to see the updates you have planned'

'We loved our stay here! We stayed with our kids (11 & 4) and had a wonderful week. The house has everything you need (other than your clothes and toiletries!) for a comfortable stay. Compared to other vacation rentals we’ve used, A.C & Linda really go the extra mile to ensure their home is clean and well stocked. The air conditioned porch provides lovely extra living space and the river front is so enjoyable. The kids could swim and play safely and loved looking for cool shells. Water shoes are...

'We had a great stay. The house was exactly as described and the hosts were very gracious. The house was equipped with anything you could need. We would highly recommend. '

'What a hidden gem of a place! A gorgeous river cottage overlooking the St James River. Grateful to be immersed in a natural rural atmosphere and also so close to many things to do both at the cottage and near Williamsburg. We swam, walked the beach, kayaked and fished! A magical sun rising over the StJames River takes one’s breathe away! I understand why people come back here. It’s a very special place. Reminds me of being on a lake which reminds me of my childhood! The Ferry is close, free...

'Staying at this rental house is like living in a dream come true. Everything inside is beautiful and yet fully functional for all ages, from children to the elderly. Our family has stayed there four times now, and we all love it so much! The house is always clean and fully ready for us. The host responds to questions quickly and kindly. We could not be happier with this rental house!'

'Staff were very friendly. Property was beautiful and well taken care of. However the room wasn’t up to par for the price. The furniture was beat up, items missing in the kitchen, shower door wouldn’t close and water went everywhere. Now the hotel staff did send people out to fix the shower door and sent a pot/ladle that were missing. They did their best but we were disappointed we had to ask and it wasn’t already fixed/done. We paid for the newly renovated, deluxe suite. We definitely didn’t get...

'Breakfast was nice. I liked the fresh bagels. My husband was disappointed in the lack of options. Muffins were great. Loved the suite. But seems a little outdated. But nice. The desk staff checked us in early and was very nice.'

'Everything was great!'

'Looks like they’re trying to update the place, but has a long way to go. Staff was super friendly and helpful'
