« Great place to stay!! »

« This road side very old motel in our opinion was not at all as advertised. And for Expeidia to have it listed is not acceptable. After deciding to not stay I've been charged $103.05 fee I would not have spent 2 nights there if they paid us! This needs to be resolved »

« Cool little cabin that houses a lot of people. Just note there is no running water in the cabin, there is a separate bath/shower house just down the road. Customer service was great and they accommodated a late night check in. Only negative is this is right on the side of the main road into the campground and parking is limited. »

« My kids loved it. We got a kick out of the rustic nature of it. The shower was plenty hot and water tasted like a good Kentucky well. Starting a fire was a bit of an adventure for the kids too. The light switches took a minute to sort but not bad. The switch for primary light was kind of hidden. Checking in at dusk turned it into a hunt. Host was responsive and easy going. »

« If you’re looking for a rustic camping experience, and this is your place. Quiet and serene with multiple wildlife meandering through the property, well maintain trails leading to forest and creeks, and a fast sky with plenty of stars. Josh handy is a great host who communicates well and is responsive to the needs of his guests. Altogether lovely I would definitely do it again. »

« We live the cabins privacy and scenery but still being in close proximity to towns like Frankfort and Georgetown. »

« Enjoyed our stay. Convenient to the small town w/ a good, local-owned restaurant right across the street. A little traffic noise because the cabin is close to the road but not excessive. Huge grass area behind cabin which was great for our dog to run in. Would stay again. :) »

« The host was wonderful. She left breakfast and snack foods for us. The house was super clean and lots of special touches. It was cozy and inviting and the setting was gorgeous. »

« The lake view was magical! Prestine and quiet. The kitchen was equipped with basics, good dishes, most basic equipment such as mixing bowls, pans and utensils for cooking. There was dishwasher and hand soap.Ample towels for 2-4 guests.Very comfortable bedding and cozy reclining chairs.Wonderful hot tub.Neat to have one remote that worked both the inside living room TV and the TV out on the patio. The hosts were very reachable and exceptionally helpful. They understood every aspect of their cabin...

« Well it was glamping not a cabin which is what I am use to booking so Rustic, no workable kitchen lacking dishes, glasses, dorm size fridge, gas stove I was afraid to use. Bathroom had clever ways to adapt to shower.No hot water in the sinks no towels provided. Bedding had plastic crinkliy covers and the upper bunk was not fit for anyone over 3 feet tall. On a positive note the outside area was beautiful scenery so green with plenty of birds and walking areas and the host was friendly. »

« Perfect rustic spot for getting to Creation Museum (1hr) and Ark Encounter (25mins). Great for kids and a small dog. Interesting pellet stove to heat the living room. Well insulated and survived a bad thunderstorm and 17 degrees F while staying with 2 young boys, a dog and my wife. Deer in the backyard. Horses in the front yard. »
