'I thought the motel looked a little dated from the outside at first, but the accommodations were very nice. We parked directly in front of our room, but had an access door in the room leading to the lobby. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING and the young lady attending that area was very efficient, kept everything stocked and fresh, and cleaned up constantly. Very good experience, we will be back!'

'The property was beautiful and relaxing, with the private lake, manicured grounds and surrounded by majestic horses. The hosts were very welcoming. We even had an impromptu game of Cash Cab at breakfast since everyone says My Husband looks like the Cash Cab Host. It was a fun and personalized way to end our visit there! '

'The cabin was incredibly cute, clean, and well equipped. The snacks and T-shirts made arrival extra welcoming! The property was so much fun to relax on! 'The code was showing on the wall next to the door which made us feel less than safe. I tried to contact the owner and he never responded. The sofa smelt like someone peed in it. The bedroom close to the kitchen had a mold smell. But the most worrying issue was the shower that was in the bathtub was on a platform with no rail to hold on to in order to get out safely. Otherwise we enjoyed the house.'

'We very much enjoyed the cabin/house, especially the history. So glad the original structure is still there and the decorating fits the time period. It is also well appointed. 'Definitely a good place to wind down. Woke up on the second morning to several cows and a few calf’s at the fence. I was so excited, but know to respect their space. It woke up early every morning just to see if they were there. Sat on the porch every evening and enjoyed the sounds of farm life in the distance. Thank You!'

'What a great property to unwind after a day of Bourbon Trail visits. The peace and quiet and sitting out on the front porch with a beverage was just what we needed. The house was just as advertised. The decor was wonderful, snacks and waters got us thru some afternoons. The walk up the hill to see the sunset is a must. Beautiful pictures with the horse that came by. Would absolutely come back again, we are planning next years trip already. Had no issues at all.'
