'My stay at Callaway Gardens was decent overall, but there were a few things that kept it from being a truly memorable experience.
First, the property itself is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are scenic and peaceful, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice, although the shower had a drainage issue that caused water to accumulate.
One thing I didn’t particularly enjoy was having to drive to get to the gardens and butterfly exhibit. I also noticed a...

'The rooms and all common areas were clean. The staff were very nice. The coffee shop made delicious lattes and the staff were quick to make the drinks.
The downside of the visit was not being able to get water after check-in. After dropping the bags in the room, there were no attendants at the desk and there were no vending machines. The coffee shop was closed so no water could be purchased. There was also only 1 cup in the room but there were 2 of us.'

'this is not a chateau but merely a las Vegas style facade of it. Rooms are ok but lacked a 2 person seating area, view was on the roof of the attrium. Food at restaurants, including breakfast, was outrageously high and what were called the refined dining venues lacked class. Tacky is the word.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Homewood Suites! The room was very spacious with a kitchenette and our balcony overlooked the river. We were able to watch a lot of the river traffic as well as enjoyed our time on the riverwalk with all the different restaurants and shops. The breakfast at the hotel was absolutely amazing and the staff is fabulous and funny. We would definitely stay here again!'
