'This is a very cool little cluster of cabanas and a bar/restaurant on a legit TINY island. The staff is great, the food is decent, and the snorkeling could be better, but overall it was a fun stay. We were the only ones staying on the island, which was pretty cool.'

'We enjoyed our stay at the gumbo limbo property and would return! Everything is as it is listed. Requested an additional blanket and the host provided this upon arrival. Just far enough to be away from main road, but a quick bike ride to anything on the island. Saw humming birds in the morning and enjoyed quick ocean access.'

'If you are looking for a good size house right on the beach this is it. The house and the beach in front of it were extremely clean. There were four adult men in our group and each of us had a good size bed to sleep in. Also, with three bathrooms and a kitchen we were set up beautifully. I totally would stay here again.'

'We were looking for a place away from the hustle, bustle of San Pedro…a quiet getaway. We found just that at Dulce Suenos Casitas. The casita was very comfortable, had everything needed to make breakfast (or another meal), great hot water….and the pool was an added plus! Will definitely stay here again if we come to Ambergris Caye!'

'We always say, “Heaven just seems closer at the Beach.” Well you can’t get much closer to the beach than here. Everything was absolutely wonderful and “King Lewey” is a very entertaining, welcoming host. The staff was incredible with our every need or want cheerfully fulfilled. They even took my husband to the flats nearby so he could fly-fish. The cabanas are impeccably clean and, of course, decorated with a tropical theme. They are well furnished down to the Starbucks coffee beans and grinder...

'Our stay was amazing. From the quaint unit to falling asleep listening to the waves and wind it couldn’t get better. We watched the sunrise, used the bikes, sat on the patio under the lights and literally relaxed. Would stay here again!'

'Great place to get away. Jovani made sure we were comfortable. Short walk to beach but we had it mostly to ourselves. Walking distance to a couple places to eat (loved the Brew Barge). Would definitely stay again.'

'Great location on the beach it’s also quite quiet as the neighboring places buffer most noise from the nearby eateries. We were entertained by local kids stopping by to visit as well as some horses that had wandered off. Enjoyed our time there and will return in the future.'

'The property is amazing. Only received low score based on accuracy of listing. My cabin was not one that was pictured, however I did still enjoy the cabin and it was cool and comfortable. The pool was…. Not as clear as the pictures. The food from Jack at the bar was 10/10 phenomenal. I recommend the buffet and full English breakfast. The road coming up the hill is a little rough, but manageable. I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and comfy. Very relaxing.'

'Our stay was comfortable, with a good distance of walking to Lobster fest. Our room was pretty clean, provided all the amenities mentioned, and even soap and towels. There were some leftover, used things of soap that were still in the shower area from visitors past. It was hard to find our place at first, and even as I was sitting in my hammock one of the days, some visitors had to ask me to help them find their building. But overall, once we got settled it was a great spot to stay at.'
