'What a cozy and well-located room in Placencia. Our cabana was right on the beach. The busy and fun bar next door had music playing till midnight, but for us, that was great -- just made it more like beach living. The rooms are in great condition and the staff is wonderful. Santiago keeps the beach and room area in perfect shape and is very attentive. We felt at home, and we could walk the Placencia sidewalk for coffee, breakfast, and night life at all times. 'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Juliet and her husband were highly communicative and warm/welcoming. The cabin was roomy, homey and spotless! We loved the cooking amenities for making our own breakfast and enjoyed the one time they provided it to us (for a nominal fee) right to our porch! They were attentive, the place was quiet and peaceful and we'd recommend it highly. Convenient to all sites.'

'The downstairs of Rough Rider Inn (the garden unit) was as described. It's very spacious and well-equipped with A/C and a kitchen fully kitted with dishes, flatware, a purified water dispenser, a mini fridge, and a microwave. I don't think I used the wifi as I had full cell service and free roaming with my carrier, but they have the network info clearly displayed in the living room. It is in a quiet area on the south side of the island near the airport and a bit of a walk from the water taxi...
