    Over Hopkins Village: Hopkins is een vriendelijk dorp en omdat Blue Moon Cabana en Baby Blue Cabana zich in het centrum van Hopkins bevinden, kun je naar alles lopen. U kunt ook een fiets, motor of golfkar huren om overal te geraken. De Cabanas liggen op een privéterrein aan het strand en omdat we in een dorp zijn, hebben we buren. Hopkins is een levendig traditioneel dorp dat vroeg in de ochtend tot leven komt met het zingen van tropische vogels en de occasionele haan die je laat weten dat het ochtend is! Als u de cultuur van een lokaal dorp in Belize wilt ervaren, zijn Blue Moon Cabana en Baby Blue Cabana de perfecte plek. Als u een luxere en meer liefhebbende ervaring nodig heeft, kunt u gelukkiger zijn met een accommodatie van het resorttype in de noord- en zuidrand van het dorp. We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside I found was excessive seaweed, which had nothing to do with the property itself, but did impact our enjoyment of the area. The property is basic, but very enjoyable.

Overall we loved our stay! Great people, very friendly, good location, amazing food, and neat things to see. The house was a great authentic experience and we would love to stay again sometime

Very clean, private, and cozy! A short walk to lots of restaurants, and ten seconds to the water. There are beach chairs with an ocean view and deck was great in the evenings (very comfy hammock!).

The cabana was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The space was perfect for a single, but also for two people who like each other. It was nice that ear plugs were provided for the one night that the band was playing next door.

There is a larger cabana in front of this one but you can still see the beach from the porch. Staff keeps the cabana and beach clean. This cabana is located right in the heart of the village so it isn't the most peaceful all of the time but my husband and I didn't mind the noise it made us feel more integrated into the culture.

Cool spot to stay if you want to experience the Garifuna culture in Hopkins.

The Garifuna people are very friendly and welcoming. We experienced great local food and made friends.

We really enjoyed our time in Hopkins. Angel the grounds keeper and the tour drivers for Julian tours all really stood out. All were very friendly and all answered all our many questions.

What a great place! Located right in the heart of Hopkins. I loved that we were immersed in the culture and the locals are so incredibly friendly!! I felt very safe our entire stay.The cabana is nice and clean and you have all the amenities you’ll need. Grocery store and many restaurants and local cool spots are within walking distance. Perfection!Thank you for such a great place to call home during our visit to Belize!Will definitely be recommending to our friends and hope to return in the future

Dry nice on the beach Blues Moon Baby Blue was good for our friend We’re late 70ers The place war centrally located we thought no a c would be inconvenient but thee temp and breeze made it nice. We avoid tap water minor inconviece. I would stay again.. kitchen was adequately stocked. like most self catering brine a sharp knife….

4 great days in Hopkins

Cabin was exactly as advertised, plenty of room for 2, great water pressure, our host gave us good advice on local eateries and set us up with an outstanding snorkel trip with Patrick. Hopkins is a fantastic place, much more local flavor than the other seaside tourist areas.

The Bungalow was Great …. The Host was Curt ….. it’s weird it was an absolutely lovely bungalow, but saying it is beachfront is misleading as it’s really behind directly behind a large beachfront bungalow that you can see the beach and water through the bungalow stilts in front…. I had to get past some of my grumbles to appreciate the loveliness of the area.

The cabin was very efficient with space, though tight for 2 people. It was clean and decently stocked. Saying that it overlooked the beach was a bit misleading, as it is situated behind and slightly lower than the larger cabana that does look out onto the beach. Also, it was surrounded by construction, so there was a lot of noise from power tools, banging etc. We enjoyed our stay and are greatful, but will not choose to return.

Really lovely cabana right on the beach. Very quiet, beautiful sunrises right outside your door step, what's not to love? Mirko is also a good and responsive host. You're right in the center of downtown as well and it's easy to walk anywhere you'd like to go in town.

Comfortable and convenient stay

The property was perfect for one person with all the necessary amenities, and was very clean. Its located right on the beach and only a stones throw from restaurants and bars in Hopkons nearby. Peaceful, with clear communication with the property owner whenever I had a question or needed to book a taxi to the airport.

Great for 1 or 2 people.

Right on the beach. Staff went out of their way to help me with getting from the airport, excursions-which definitely helped because I was on my own and most excursion companies have a minimum of 2 people. I would definitely come here again.

Great location!

Loved my stay at Baby Blue Moon! The room was clean and had everything I needed. Walkable (or ride a bike) to many restaurants and stores. There was a bike rental place just across the street! The beach is beautiful as always and there were a couple of lounge chairs on the property for my use.

Mirko was an excellent host! He answered questions quickly and offered great advice before my trip, and he checked in with me once I arrived. The cabana is conveniently located in town, so close to everything. It was very clean, and we didn’t have any (not one!) bug inside. The beach is beautiful. I will recommend this place to all my friends, for sure.

Cabana was as mentioned. Located behind larger cabin so it was hard for us to find in the dark. But once we found it the location is great. I do hope that the clubs on either side dont play music as loud every weekend. We did expect it this time because of Settlement Day.
