Only problem I had was unfortunately my trip was cut short and they wouldn’t refund any money for the two nights I lost. And it’s there slow season so it’s not like they didn’t have time to rebook the room. More than Half the rooms are vacant. '

'We really enjoyed our stay at the Jade Hotel. It's friendly and we felt very welcomed by the owner. The hotel is in a quieter part of Ha Long but it was very easy to grab a Grab taxi to the shops along Ha Long rd and Sun World as well as other local sites. The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the beach where we found a good cafe for iced lattes. Plus the hotel cat was v cute.'
