Wir konnten ihn jederzeit kontaktieren und um Infos bezüglich Wanderungen und Essensmöglichkeiten fragen. Highlight war die Führung durch die Ananasplantage, wo er uns viele interessante Geschichten erzählte. Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, man hat den Sonnenaufgang und den Sonnenuntergang. 'We received a lovely, detailed email about recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area before we arrived. They allowed us to check in early, which was amazing, as we had an 8:30 am plane arrival - the refresh was golden! The property itself is beautifully decorated. It requires a 30 minute drive from Ponta Delgada and is longer to Furnas region, but if you like adventure, this travel in a rented car is completely doable. You can really chill and regroup, and also do daily excursions including hiking, biking, whale watching. We loved it here! Would do it again!'

'Fantastic unique opportunity to stay in a historic windmill - the property is fairly large and the interior is very well built! Like the rest of the Azores, it could feel damp and humid at times, but there are air conditioning units throughout and the windows made it feel airy at times! The property is also relatively quiet with the exception of some birds that live on the property, but they didn’t bother us at all! Overall we would recommend!'

"Het park, de baden en het vriendelijke personeel maken het verschil. We verbleven hier drie nachten. Minder positief was dat er bij het ontbijt extra betaald moest worden voor oa pannenkoeken en eggs benedict. Bij een hotel met dit forse prijskaartje verwachten we vijf sterren service. Ander nadeel: in onze kamers 134 en 135 hoorden we ‘s nachts een lage bromtoon, waardoor we niet zo goed sliepen."
