B&B in Adirondack Region

'Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!'

'We had a very comfortable stay in an adjacent building above a restaurant. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast delicious and served on a lovely screened porch. The only thing I would recommend is in the adjacent building. It’s to change the carpet in the upstairs hallway. There was a musty smell. Our room was perfectly clean and didn’t have any odor. It was only in the hallway.'

'Our room and any others that we snuck a peek in were all gorgeous. The architectural details of this 1901 mansion are amazing. Old world charm but with plenty of updates like AC, WiFi, etc. Excellent made to order breakfast can’t be beat. Within easy walking distance to the main drag where most of the shops and restaurants are. Was a 10 minute drive to SPAC to see David Byrne in concert. Could have easily spent the day just relaxing at a number of spots around the grounds or inside. Would...

'While the rooms and furnishings are very nice, the bathrooms we not cleanly or updated. The night I stayed there, the power had gone off and there was no air conditioning and the no water. This could be a nice B&B but the outdoors need to be improved. For starters, they could remove the junk water heater from the front porch.'

'We checked in on our own for just 10 minutes and left this place. Nobody present to welcome us. No wifi and or internet, all fridges were unplugged. Web everywhere. Trees overgrown on hot tub and pool and many more! '
