'I was very happy with my stay. I was here for a run. I had a nice meal which was needed. I was particularly impressed at guest laundry at no extra cost. The staff were friendly and helpful. I asked for a small extension to my check out time and this was not a problem. This was extremely helpful as it enabled me to change after my run. I would definitely stay here again'

'Prima hotel en mooie kamer. Goede locatie als je naar The Stockton Globe gaat. De bedden zijn wel erg hard en er zit een brandmelder boven het bed die elke paar seconden knippert. Hierdoor hebben wij niet goed geslapen. De foto's die hierbij staan van het mooie strand en de pier zijn wat misleidend, aangezien dit een half uur verderop ligt met de auto. Niet bij het hotel dus!'

'Stayed for 2 nights and could not fault the room and the breakfast was really good. However we decided to order a snack from the menu one evening. I ordered a sandwich, the menu stated fresh bloomer bread, brown or white, tuna, spring onion, mayonnaise and black pepper. When I received this it was 2 thin slices of 50/50 bread, no spring onion and the thinnest filling of tuna, more like spread. The charge for this was £8.00!! Definitely not worth the cost.'

'Nice overnight stay at Hall Garth hotel, just minutes off the motorway but no sound of traffic !!!!!, Staff are all very friendly and an asset to the business. Evening meal was very tasty as was the breakfast. They have closed the swimming pool but have Spa facilities but at a premium price of £15 for 90 minutes which in my opinion is over priced. Rooms a little dated but comfortable . Would certainly recommend and return. They also have their own golf course. '
