'I couldn't determine whether this facility was just particularly renovated or only part of a rundown motel was being used. The clerk was courteous and the room was clean. BUT my non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoking and the bed cover was full of cigarette burn holes.The a/c unit was very noisy and it took all night to cool the room. 'It didn’t smell like garbage. It totally didn’t feel gross just standing in the bathroom. I most certainly did not almost gag when I first walked in. I didn’t get drunk in the parking lot with my friends either. I did bring a sleeping bag. '

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'
